The #Falcons reportedly plan to interview Arthur Smith for the HC position. Smith is one of the hottest candidates in this search and when you look at his body of work in Tennessee, it's easy to see why.

Disagree on Bienemy. No thanks. Nothing anyone can say to me will convince me on him otherwise.

Arthur Smith, the Titans OC is my choice. Especially after hearing Arthur today say he doesn't want a rebuild.

Bienemy is a Reid coat tail rider.

Arthur smith is having luck with Derrick Henry.

Agreed w/the first sentence.

Disagree w/the second. I like Smith's offensive philosophy. Power run w/playaction and movement.

He's been my top choice from the start. My #2 choice is Arthur Smith.

Definitely my concern - maybe too much Bama in me but I love the idea of Daboll

He would still be in Baltimore if he wanted to be a GM. They would have paid whatever it took to keep him around.

Todd Bowles is getting an interview, and lets collectively pray it's nothing more. Not sure how we're even interviewing HC candidates without having first hired our GM

Teams have hired coaches first and let them have a say in the GM hiring process to ensure that they got someone with their vision for building the roster.

I saw that. Also, Joe Brady the wunderkind had a virtual interview. I honestly think all of his interviews are just prepping him for next year to make the jump to a HC, but who knows. Also apparently Matty Ice and the Predator available via Trade: Rebuild is on the table

I like that Blank is saying that he won't force the new GM to keep Matt and Julio. The dead cap to trade them both would really suck for this year, but if the new GM can get assets for them, it might be worth running on a really low cap in 2021 and having a terrible team to accelerate the inevitable rebuild.

I believe we will keep Matt for one more season and trade Julio this offseason while he still has value. The draft capital from trading him will be worth more to this team than his production would be, considering the team is nowhere near contention with or without him.

I also believe we draft Matt's successor at #4, but may have to move up to #3 to make sure we get one of Fields or Wilson. Miami isn't going to draft one of them but that would be to avoid having someone else (Carolina?) trade over us to get one of them.

Stopped reading right here. Can't trade one, let alone both, the cap hit would be crippling, amd not just for one year. More like 3 or 4.

You can but the dead money and cap hit makes it very difficult.
