That's on Freeman's agent and his wife. The Braves actually offered more money after taxes even with the added year.

So he's to blame for the slow start? Interesting.

Well, they've won 3 in a row now, so that's a plus. That being said, I probably just re-jinxed them back into a 10 game losing streak.

How about a 5-1 home stand.
Unlikely heroes performing well in the final game.

They just gotta keep taking 2/3 for most of the month of May and they'll be right back in it. Long season... just hope it doesn't get really short if they get swept this weekend and then go about 3-10 over the first half of the month.

About to get swept by the Dodgers…again

They are a mediocre team with a reputation of being a good team, so they get pounded by actual good teams when they play. No Fried, Strider, D'Arnaud, Swanson, Acuna, Morton, etc. The good news is Ozuna's 16 million comes off after this season, they can decline's Sale's 18 million dollar option, even Albies 7 million dollar option can be declined. That should be plenty of money for more real estate acquisition in the battery. Just thinking like the front office here.

Read an article yesterday that they might be willing to trade Ozuna and get rid of that money.
I dunno. Doesn't look like a very good team and we might have to be sellers for once around June, sadly.

What an absolute disaster on Ozzie’s hit to center. That’s little league level stupid.

This team is mediocre and lifeless. They need a swift kick in the arse and the franchise needs to be shaken up.
Not looking to do a tear down for prospects, and I don't want to trade everyone, but I would be willing to trade 2 or 3 of the long term guys not named Acuna or Baldwin. This roster has gotten stale with mostly the same players and mostly the same coaches for a long, long time now.
IMO, the single biggest problem with this team right now is the same problem the Falcons have. They insist that everyone who comes in long term must be a passive nice guy who doesn't ruffle any feathers when some feathers really need to be ruffled, and the team is softer than baby shite as a result.
