The OL got Matt killed today. And I was just reading on another board people are blaming the loss on Matt. Ridiculous. Atlanta has the dumbest football fans on the planet. They don't deserve Matt Ryan.
There's a good portion of them that were never going to like him because he's not #7...

I was wrong and my confidence was misplaced. I guess that, in my mind, I imagined a very healthy and rested Julio Jones. It would have been fun to watch the Ryan to Jones combination in action yesterday with a healthy Julio Jones.
Julio Jones is one of the greatest professional football players of all time. The whole team seems to depend on him being healthy, which is a remarkable testament at to his greatness.
This upcoming schedule looks very difficult. I have no more confidence in the 2020 Atlanta Falcons.
I know that Julio Jones has a hamstring injury? Is this a lingering injury that surfaces with regularity, i.e. chronic?

Let's just call it how it is. Anyone with eyes can see that Ryan is a far, far superior QB than Vick could ever dream of being, but a lot of black Falcons fans would never embrace Ryan.

Sadly, this is 100% accurate.

While you are right, there is a good portion of white fans who are the same way.
Anyone who believes Vick is better then Matt needs to quit watching football, b/c its not for them.

Are there actually? I don’t see white guys wearing Vick jerseys or talking about how Vick was better.

Like I said they are out there, there just not either as many or as vocal.

Last week probably cost him any chance to get the job full time, fortunately.

No, time to blow it up and clean house. The players deserve better than this.
Are you kidding? Look at what the Falcs are doing to the LA Raiders! The Raiders beat the Saints and many say that the Raiders are headed to the playoffs.
Falcs begin a late-season charge to the playoffs?

The coaching search will be fascinating to watch. On the one hand, I seriously doubt Morris was considered to be a true candidate for the permanent job right after Quinn was fired. On the other hand, if he ends up with a winning record in the games where he was HC, the Falcons will have a very hard time justifying not hiring him unless they go and hire another black guy. Blank will be under all sorts of scrutiny if he hires a white side under those conditions I mentioned, regardless of qualifications

Needs to sell the team. He has no idea what he's doing. You guys don't really trust him to make the right hire, do you?

Morris can get a chance if he fired Koetter.
The defense and special teams has been consistently better since DQ was fired.
The offense is a laughable bag of predictable and uncreative gut-runs, deep balls, and bubble screens.

I bet Dave Caldwell will be GM. He was fired by Jacksonville. I really like Rick Smith though.

Do what? The offense has averaged over 28 ppg since DQ was fired and is currently 9th in total offense.

Koetter isnt the issue
The Falcons have padded a lot of stats in garbage time this year. Koetter's predictable playcalling is absolutely an issue. The other issue is the WR substitution patterns which make the plays easier to predict and defend.
