Very opinionated and grumpy.

Will argue with you over the dumbest things.

The guy on ch 5 who, in trying to be witty, says very little, then offers a pedestrian take as keen insight. I never see the others.

Joe Franklin and Randy Rainwater are just boring to listen to

Chuck has to be politically correct so you won’t get much interesting out of him

Otis is hard to listen to - should come with an epilepsy warning or something

Only because he pushed Pittmans fat arse on us.

The Midget who forsook all journalist principles, when he started fluffing Bielema.

Chuck Barrett is he a journalist? He seems like a press secretary, straight up just part of the administration.

Chuck Barrett had this own show called sports rap for years. He called Arkansas fans terrorists for wanting Nutt fired. So putting Arkansas fans in the same category as the terrorists of 9/11. No repercussions or apology but did get rewarded as the voice for football who isn't in the same league as Bud Campbell and Paul Eells.

When I used to read Tardville I found him to be particularly thinned skinned when challenged on whatever narrative they were pushing at the time.

I was watching ask Mike and he was being a jerk to that girl who was giving her own opinion.

He has a very "I was in the room and you weren't" point of view - which I think means something to be fair. Because I don't find Mike Irwin to be an outright liar. On the other hand, sometimes what people let him see and hear doesn't always reflect the whole story, and there're some gaps that get filled in with implications and truisms. I believe he speaks honestly, but it's not like he's never wrong, misled, or interprets a situation correctly all the time. If you're going to be all grassroots and talk with fans on message boards, that's a disposition that'll frustrate everyone involved.

Lanny is the one I found to be thin-skinned. He used to have Bert as a censored word. Bert wasn't even an insult, it was a term of endearment. A completely harmless nickname. It's not like Titboss or MOTHO. But as soon as he was done with Bert, and he decided Bert had enough time, it wss suddenly allowed. And as far as I'm concerned, Chad never should've been off limits, but he was for the better part of two years over there. You just can't be as sensitive as they are and enforce jackboot standards for etiquette. This is fricking sports, and we're pissed off for pretty damn good reasons.

That whole place is full of 60+ chodes who never learned how to interact on the Internet, despite being on it for 25+ years. Every time I saw one of them refer to a player as "young man," I expected them to pinch cheeks and pull some melted candy out of their purse.

He also said firing MOTHO would set the program back 10 years, he damn sure nailed that one.

He was a little off.

Firing Petrino was the back breaker.
