Anyone with common sense knew this season was going to be a struggle. Arkansas is playing with no QB, a piecemeal line, and not much at receiver. Their best tight end won’t go to class and all of the best overall players on offense play the same damn position.

The defense is slow as shite. It was last year so how did anyone expect improvement. You can’t wave a wand and turn a guy into a speedster. Our best defensive player has been moved around so much that he hasn’t been able to reach his full potential. One of our two serviceable linebackers is made of glass. We have one great corner, a pretty good (but young) safety and the rest of the secondary is meh. They are decent players, but they are slow and/or undersized.

There probably aren’t 4 players on this roster that would start for a team in the top half of the SEC. It is what it is. It’s going to take every bit of 3 years to recruit out of the hole that fat arse left us in.

No melting. I was at the game.

I question the 4th down play call but there's not one coach in America that hasn't fricked up a call. We were still up big at that point.

These kids have a loser's mentality. They crumbled after that. It's going to take time with the new regime/old players and the new schemes, rules, recruits.

I think it’s really just blowing that big of a lead to a non-P5 team. It’s scary that it’s almost becoming normal to lose to a non-P5 team at this point. That is number 3 in 7 years which was unheard of just 7 years ago.

There’s more parity in college sports across the board than there used to be. Colorado State isn’t good but LSU lost to Troy and Auburn lost to UCF last year. Penn State nearly lost to Appalachian State.

CSU got blown out by Colorado but the Buffaloes beat Nebraska today and Hawaii is on their way to 3-0 with a blowout of Navy. It happens.

I find that I am fresh out of f*cks to give anymore, as bad as that feels to admit.

After last week we saw a little bit of hope for our future, which is what makes this one so hard.

Yes, CCM does need more time to get even a semblance of his guys in place and the team he has now is just kinda... odd.....for lack of a better term, but that didn't stop us from easily handling a similarly mismatched team last week.

I guess I'm mostly just tired of the roller coaster we've been riding since CBP put his bike in the ditch and won't be comfy again until I see the track start straightening out; that damn Bielema did a number on ALL of us.

I'll keep watching and supporting like always, but until then I'm pulling all my 'give a fricks' off the shelves until I have none left to give.

I agree with a lot of what MSHOG said, but I’m melting because we heard all week how we needed to work on the running game. We were killing it on the ground, wearing them down. They didn’t have an answer for it and we start playing with the passing game. If you want to play with the passing game, do it when your up by 4-5 TDS.

Because the only reason we lost that game and blew a 27-9 lead against a really shitty opponent was abysmal coaching. The Morris era will end just like the Bielema era. The dude has losing record as a head coach, it will go down as the worst hire in Arkansas history. Book it.

1. 4th and 1 puss out.

2. Empty backfield on 3rd and whatever it was with Kelly when he got sacked by one man for a loss.

Two plays that have me questioning the decision making of the OC and head coach.

The bad part is, the team may be questioning them now as well.

I'm not saying I could be a good play caller, but I know I wouldn't have called those two.

Terrible calls (shite.. God Saban has fricked up a time or 2) but we're still up big.

What made a defense that was stopping them to 1 yd rushing and 100 yds total for the entire first half, decide it was time to crumble and look like dog shite?

These kids are mentally beat down. They crumble at the first sight of adversity. That's why it looked JUST frickING LIKE a Bielema game.

We need fresh kids and a fresh culture and I'll give Morris a minute to do that.

When Saban lost to ULM in year one, he was pissed in the post game presser and let it be known it wasn't acceptable and accountability was going to be had.

Chad gave an awe shucks attitude and moved his focus towards Lone Star.

I find myself drifting slowly but surely into this category. I wasn't even upset last night... just mildly disappointed. Like if it had started to rain right before I was going to take a walk.

I will, for the record, state that I am tired of considering 6-6 an overly optimistic prediction for a season. When the days of Houston Nutt seem like some lost golden age of Arkansas football the program has a problem.

I still think hiring the Chadster was the right call at the time. We needed to rebuild our ties to the Texas High School community and if the meth head does nothing else he'll pull that off for us.

I saw a pretty fricking pissed Morris during the game. Maybe he's a different personality and actually cools off or covers it up in front of media and fans.

Everyone's different. Doesn't mean he isn't highly pissed right now.

He allegedly has a degree in mathematics yet couldn't properly calculate the odds or physics of 6'7" and 220lbs covering a distance of 6" successfully.

They do, but apparently so do the coaches if they're scared of not getting a few inches on 4th down with a 6'7 QB against a MWC defensive line.

In the preseason prediction thread I had us losing this road game.

I knew it would be a slow, erratic start to the season for this bunch.
Where I was badly wrong, I had us beating UNT and somehow A&M!
That ain’t happening.
Hogs are rock bottom and it will take us 3 to 4 years to dig our way out.
No reason not to play the Jones kid at QB now.

Agreed. That was a mistake. But was that why we lost the game? We were still way up in the score.

Morris has said before that 4-8 isn’t acceptable, but of course he wasn’t talking about himself either
