Agreed. That was a mistake. But was that why we lost the game? We were still way up in the score.

It was 27-17 at that point and CSU had just scored a TD on their previous drive. It's not like we were blowing them out.

You may be thinking about the missed FG when it was 27-9. That hurt but wasn't make or break.

The 4th down call hurt because it gave them the ball back at a time when the score was decently close and their offense had begun to catch gears.

You right. I'm upset we just gave Limpo a scholarship....that's for sure.

I still believe a mentally strong team would have bounced back from that call. It looked just like a Bielema team.

"OMG! They have the momentum and now it's time to hand it to them on a platter!"

Now if this is how Morris continues with the culture when his players start coming in, then sure. GTFO. I'll wait though to form a judgement.

The 4th down call was absolutely indefensible. If you had asked their fans or even their coaches at the time, every single one of them would have said they were praying for a punt.

I agree with a lot of what MSHOG said, but I’m melting because we heard all week how we needed to work on the running game. We were killing it on the ground, wearing them down. They didn’t have an answer for it and we start playing with the passing game. If you want to play with the passing game, do it when your up by 4-5 TDS.

Well, Coach Morris is attempting to incorporate as much balance as possible for future games this season. This is the part where someone screams: we gotta win the game we are playing.

Problem is, CCM is trying to get to 6 wins. Assuming we were gonna win all 4 OOC games, you still have to win 2 SEC games. That is hard to do if teams are selling out on the run every down.

CCM's biggest issue last night was the lack of aggression. He should feel he has enough latitude from the fanbase not to play that fearfully. ( eg. The 2nd down throw to Nance in the flat on the shortside )

I think everyone needs to calm down. I believe CCM has the ability to learn from his mistakes. Let's give him a chance.

I would much rather remove fans from this board starting threads that include phrases like "methhead frick" (which is hardcore projection) than give up on Coach Morris after 1 game.

You don't spend months talking 'left lane hammer down' and then punt on 4th and less than 1, not when you have a QB that could pretty much fall forward and get that and your running backs have been knocking off 4 or 5 yards consistently.

I wholeheartedly agree with you here and I hope to never see that shite again.
