I really hope that we will pull it off tomorrow, this is psychologically defeating.

When I saw the popup, I jumped up and got right by the TV. I thought, "this is it. We're finally going to do it." Then I watched the ball fall to the ground between 3 defenders and knew that, once again, we would not.

I'm real close to taking a long break from the Arkansas Razorbacks. All they do is cause me grief. I don't know why I keep coming back for more.

I really feel for the players if the are not able to win tonight. Seen many a gross display on various forms of social media lashing out at the players for losing "DVH's championship" tonight. Sad. Very sad. We have to do better.

Y’all need to shake it off just like the players.

Also, ignore dale, don’t even read his posts, he’s just being an arse. Pretend they don’t exist.

The wind left our sails and turned the Beavers direction last night. Hope we can pick up a breeze tonight, momentum is all Oregon States now. They will come out swinging.

It's important to remember that these are just kids playing a kid's game, and if we're being honest it's not even a compelling brand of baseball. These are supposedly the two best teams in America and they don't even look that good, lots of bonehead plays and downright shite baseball. What other major sport can you be so bad at and still be competing for a national championship?

That's what makes it better than the majors. It's unpredictability makes it more entertaining.

A bomb in the first inning will change that.

Dude. This was worse.

I was with men finer than me in the stadium and their souls were crushed.

It didn't even feel real watching it live and did not sink in just how bad the foul ball was until watching it on replay.

No it doesn't. This was a Bill Buckner level of failure. That's rare.

Yep, feels a thousand times shittier than when Stoerner laid down the ball on the field against #1 TN when we had it won - at least he had sort of an excuse of tripping. ... Still stunned & a little nauseous about this highly unfortunate incident which will no doubt be replayed during the CWS every year for forever. It'll take a while to recover from this one.
