Do you think that might have been due to scholarship reductions and transfers the previous two years?
It could have been. The squad he had in 2012 was definitely better than 7–6, though. I think they pulled the trigger a little prematurely. There was definitely no reason to fire him in such a dramatic and immature fashion. I'm glad Sark embarrassed them later.

Lane Kiffin has won 1 game more in his first 6 years as a college head coach than Nick Saban in his first six years.
Coincidence......i think not.

Glad I could refresh your memory. You had that ridiculous comment about Kiffin leaving Bama on good terms. You might wanna go back and edit now so you don't embarrass yourself.

Understand.....and Then it was decided thst him working for FAU was a distraction and that arrangement was ended....but he was never fired.
He was just relieved of his coaching duties sooner than expected.
Does that sound like leaving on good terms to you? Because that's what the discussion is about.

He had accepted the job. He was still working for Alabama. Not sure why this is so hard.

he left Tenner to jump at the USC job
Of course, he'd never do that to us, right?

no risk, no reward
With Kiffin I would say it's more like all risk, no reward. Can you guys please explain what you are seeing that is making this guy so attractive to so many of you? All I see is 1 good year at FAU.
If he does well here he'd be gone in 2 years. If he flops, we're stuck with a petulant child for a coach. He's Petrino without the wins.

Lane has the talent. I'm just not sure about the work ethic. 90% of the time you need both.

If he brought Kendell Bryles (sp?) with him, hire him yesterday.
Go look up Kiffen's interviews recently with ESPN and Clay Travis.
His reply's on several things might change some perspective.
I would love to give Lane the job!

Neither one of those are Kristen Saban.
