JACKSONVILLE (KATV) One bride and grooms wedding is sure to be a memorable day. A Friday night brawl breaks out at a wedding party at a Jacksonville bar & grill.

quote:

Jacksonville police were called to Hardrider's Bar & Grill because Michael Bryant allegedly hit his wife for dancing with the victim, Doug Smith. Several fights followed.

When police arrived, Doug Smith was unconscious, bleeding from his head. Employees and customers say Jessie Brittain, 36, knocked Smith to the ground, kicking and punching him as he lay unresponsive.

quote:

Doug is in serious condition, his brain shifted during the attack. He is in a medically induced coma.

quote:

Because of this incident, Jessie Brittain's federal probation has been revoked. He is being held on no bond for U.S. Marshalls. In September he was arrested for conspiracy to distribute roughly $1.5 million dollars in meth.

I'm proud because the Brittain boy's have made a name that rivals a wild west story.

Brother #1 - Killed himself while being served
Brother #2 - Busted for pushing 1.5 Mil in Meth, then this incident
Brother #3 - Just a crazy mofo

I am guessing so. Waiting to hear back from my sources. That whole family is nutjob crazy.

2nd runner up in my Hometown pride contest

The Offord brothers who have been arrested numerous times for Delivery of Controlled Substance. Both currently incarcerated until 2016

3rd place goes to former UCA start Dewayne Lockhart, who thought it would be a great idea to have a couple pounds of marijuana shipped to his house via fed-ex. Only to have the dog sniff it out, and cops waiting for him to accept delivery of the package. He just got out of the clink i think.

This is why I support the county my hometown is located remaining dry. It's already "wet" enough because of where it's located, but if there was a "bar & grill" or liquor sold in grocery & convenience stores in that town these days, there would be an incident like this every week.

I find humor in your story, despite its serious nature, because some of those "upstanding citizens" in your town sound very similar to a few in mine. It has changed tremendously since I grew up there & I have to laugh to keep from crying. but and

What were you selling? Heat? Drano? some other ingredient for meth?

Beebe is quickly becoming Little Missouri with all the meth heads running around there.

I want to laugh at Beebe, but I grew up in Cabot.

hopefully the victim recovers. Very sad.

of course, a wedding reception held at a wt bar always leads to good things....

Holy crap, I haven't heard that name in 10 years, but I'll never forget it. I played at Wynne and we played Beebe for the first time my senior year and he killed us, though we ended up winning the game. I remember our coach telling us "that kid is going to play college ball." I didn't realize he went to UCA.

Wait, so the Bride dances with ANOTHER man in front of her brand new husband. Husband hits wife, family member of wife beats the shite out of husband?

My first question is, did the Wife want to die?
