Why are people not excited about this bball team?

Nb4 Mike and free throws. Ive only watched our losses and this game.

Yes the FT%, especially in clutch time, is terrible. But this may be the best half court team I've seen in Mike's era. Even with Portis//Qualls and Macon/Barford teams, it felt like the flow was putrid and we got bailed out by great players.

I don't know if the team is just young and are a bunch of blind squirrels finding nuts, but even in our losses they've outplayed the other team. The moment they grow man testicles late in games at the FT line (no offense to the multide of women hog posters we have, I will personally vouch for vaginas being much tougher than testicles), this team will be a force.

If you want to trash Mike for the lack of continuous (or existent) success, thats obviously fair. If you want to trash Mike for people like me being surprised that we're solid, that's obviously fair.

But at the end of the day, we have a shot this year in the SEC. In the tournament, who the frick knows, we havent done frick all in years. But after the baseball foul ball I didn't learn about until 11 hours later on a fricking flight... then 2-10... take what you can fricking get.

Don't accept poor results for the long term. But if you get that 1998/2006 football spirit then you squeeze it. Nurture it. Let it surprise the frick out of you. Let it give you the hope you need for a decade. Will it let you down? Of course. But you signed up for this shite being born in this fricking state. Should've been born better. arse fricks.
