Meh, I'm excited that we MAY have a good team, but it's too early to tell.

I agree it is too early. I still stick by my NIT prediction. It is also probably going to take a better conference record than previously thought because so far the SEC hasn't lived up to the preseason hype.

Mike beat both last year and we had “fans” complaining about the margin of victory.

He's comfortable at Arkansas and in 2 years we'll be having this same conversation while DVH keeps doing work.

So, he isn't coaching as well as he can because he is comfortable? Is that what you are saying?

What does DVH have to do with this?

His effort level is about a 4 out of 10

DVH, final two, nuff said..

As long as you're fine with mediocre basketball, all good.

Damn sure better than the Chadillac dumpster fire..

This perfectly illustrates how Mike is held to a different standard than our other coaches. The biggest choke job in Arkansas history belongs to Van Horn, yet nobody criticizes him for anything, ever.

Still don't understand why we are comparing different sports

Nah, I'm not. Your logic just doesn't make sense to me. Why I asked you to explain it, but saying he gives 4 out of 10 on effort level doesn't provide much insight.

What matters is right now. Not last year, the year before, or any other year. Right now is what matters and right now Mike Anderson has a very impressive basketball team.

The haters are gonna hate no matter what. We will see in the next month or so how it all is shaking out, but I don't see this team getting rattled against anyone. They're gonna continue to do their thing in conference play and they're gonna win a lot of games.

Anyone talking about the past has an agenda.

You understand when you attempt to trash the best coach on the campus of The UofA, your words become illegitimate to everyone this board?

Carry on...each post you make is like watching a Christmas Story on TBS Christmas morning. Over and over again all day long, the same worthless drivel. Unfortunately for you, your posts are like the leg lamp, all taped together and held together by hooker fish net stockings and not even hanging by a thread.

You realize I only asked how long it took for the event that was brought up having and has nothing to do with this topic and have yet to get a straight forward answer?

You under stand that of the two major sports and most popular secondary sport that only one coach has yet to have a losing season at the college level and he isn't the proclaimed "best coach on campus".

I've made no attempt to trash anyone. Not sorry if the facts do not fit the narrative you are trying to create.

Not really. Mike has not had any postseason success at Arkansas. It's not too big of a leap to think this will be another season that ge doesn't get it done.

I totally agree. This team is completely different than what we pit on the court last season. I'm excited about the defensive energy I've seen so far. I really hope this team has some real success. Hawg fans deserve it.

This team isn't going to leave any doubt about how good a coach Anderson is. If Jordan Phillips can fit into a role with this team, they are going to be unbelievably tough to beat. The short time he was in there last night he looked good. Active rebounder. Smooth shooting stroke. 6'7".
