Rev I’ll do you one better. I’ll take $10 a ticket to take them off your hands.

We have to have a “splash” hire to get us out of it. And even then it may be too late.
Don’t laugh, but someone like Gruden. It’ll get the NIL funds flowing and will get players excited about coming.
Hiring Chad 2.0 (or 3.0 after Silverfraud is fired) ain’t the answer

Arkansas and it fans really need to step out of the small circle of names that are recycled every time the job opens. This is part of the reason why the program is where it is.
Chaggy was picked by Gus after Gus said no.
Chaggy sucked so bad, Bert seamed good, enter Sam Pittman.
The offense is lackluster inside the 20, Bring back Dan Enos. He implodes, Arkansas can't afford to make the change, so snag up Petrino form the unemployment line.
It doesn't make sense to recycle names from the worst period in program history of guys associated with Bert, Chaggy, and Pittman.
It sucks that Nutt and Petrino were micromanaging control freaks who only hired assistants less than them, so none of those guys are viable options.
A past connection was great when you had competent options out there from the Broyles and Holtz eras, but all these guys are retired or dead now.
Dragging up hot names from 20 years ago isn't going to move the needle either.
The opportunity for the splash hire was the past 3 hires, things are so far down you need competence. Cigniti didn't even ripple the water, but he knew what he wanted to do, how he wanted to do, and how to achieve his goals.
Wins will do more for NIL than a "big name" ever would. Talent evaluation and coaching still has an impact, look at Kentucky and Ms State this year. They do not have that much more money in the roster than Arkansas.
This isn't a talent problem, underperforming your talent level compared to competition had been an issue at Memphis since Norvell left for FSU. Everyone knew this but Hunter Yurachek.

Should have been a Bob Chesney or Will Stein hire. I don’t see us getting a new coach this year. I do see us getting rid of Hunter, and the new AD will have the ability to evaluate for a year and bring in all the people he wants. From Coach to GM to Scouts..
Too bad we couldn’t go after a mercenary like Chip Kelly to run the offense next year.

John Tyson said yesterday that Silveridiot will get 2 more years. This train wreck will go on for the long term.
Best we can hope is Ryan goes on a drunk bender and gets himself fired.

The hopium will go up when Bill gets fired at UNC and we bring in Bobby for the 3rd time.

He won't get three years if he goes winless in the SEC this year and the next.

Once again, speaking on football when you’ve been out on it since the Chad Morris era..
Do I want Bobby, no. I think that’s a retard move the program would do is to hire a retread to get Silverfield a little support into year 2.
If I got my wish, it would have been firing Hunter when he caved to Aw shucks I ain’t going no where.
Realistically if we keep Ryan, I’d go after Chip Kelly to run the offense, that’s all he wants to do now. He doesn’t want to recruit, the handshakes or anything. Give him money and a competent roster and be top 25-30 in offense.
If we get rid of Ryan, I’d go after Bob Chesney and back him with money. Because without the money we will just ruin another guys career.

4 year contract? Or 5? Either way buying out 2 or 3 years is easier than 4 or 5.

Don’t know why people are discussing the same loser coaches that are always brought up. To kill a hydra, you don’t cut its head off. Like you said, full fire sale or nothing will ever change.

Getting rid of HY is the ultimate goal, real change can't start until then. I want Cramsey gone for sure but that is just part of it.
We need a real AD that gives a shite about our football program. For the life of me I just can't figure out what is taking so long. The BOT should show the fanbase that they actually care and are willing to right the ship. Our fanbase is just so desperate for any positive movement forward.
Who the new AD could be, I have no clue. The world of NIL is so crazy that what may have made a good AD in the pre-NIL area doesn't necessarily translate today.

One > than the other
If your dumb ignorant arse couldn't see the train derailing after the Morris hire, I can't help you

I knew Chad was in over his head since he was ripping and gripping and crinkling that water bottle in the introductory press conference. It was confirmed when his own family wouldn’t follow him here.
I just never said I quit watching the games and I won’t tune in ever again for the next 8 years, but show up in every football discussion. If this was about the bachelor, you wouldn’t see me because I don’t watch it and I don’t lie about not watching it.

Methinks that’s how we ended up with Silver.
Chicken man said he essentially doesn’t care about foosball at the LRTD club.
Worst possible timing to be sucking arse. We going to get relegated at the next conference realignment.

These are all just excuses. fricking Ole Miss brings in more for NIL in a state with the same population and two SEC SCHOOLS that are both poorer than us and our alumni base. Hire the right people, get the right results. It’s the same reason you don’t do money or business with friends and family, you do it with fricking winners.
