Mike would have to win out, take the SEC Tournament, and make the second round of the NCAA for me to even entertain the idea that he deserves another year.

If you are talking about the ones who have questions about whether Mike has been getting it done and the prospects of whether he CAN get it done, we are still here.
You can't base the success of a tenure on one game or six or eight games. It's the body of work.
The sentiment by and large of the 'negative' folks you talk about is they pretty much all 'like Mike', and would love for him to succeed. And maybe this is a turnaround. And maybe not.
The fact is though, after 8 years of mediocre at best results, things need to elevate soon for him to keep his job.

You can call this negative, because I don't know how a team that prides itself on it's fast break offense, can struggle so mightily against a full court defense.
