Wazzu was in a much worse place than Arkansas when leech took over and he has a very unique system he had to implement.

That is subjective. Bert had to totally change the system here as well.

The talent at wazzu is still way less than the talent pulled at Arkansas.

And he is going to have to face much tougher talent than what he faces currently. Just wouldn't make sense to fire Bert and hire someone who would do something similar results wise.

I'm in the minority but I would be thrilled with Leach at Arkansas. I'm not sure if he would find an ounce of success but it would interesting.

I don't hate him at all just think we would be doing about the same or a little worse with him.

How many losses to FCS teams are you prepared to accept?

Leach is who he is. In the Big 12 he looked like a genius but they don't play defense. In the PAC 12 he is having a good year, this year. Before that he stunk on ice for most of his seasons.

He is not a magic bullet that will come in and mystically win a national title here. We would throw for a lot of yards, give up a lot of yards, and... be where we are right now with no hope of improvement.

Pretty much a weaker version of petrino. If he doesn't pan out, he is going to leave us with nothing.

We hired Petrino and fans fell step in line and defended that scumbag way beyond what any sane fanbase should.

I never doubt our ability to be a sleaze program, I just have zero faith in our ability to leverage anything into a high level of success.

Oh yeah completely demolishing our program to rebuild as an air raid team right now seems like a great plan

Tell me how that power running team identity is going for us? If leach came in next year he'd already have the athletes and qb to run his offense believe it or not just wouldn't have decent lineman

why are you so danged hard headed.

Leach is SUCKING at a much lesser conference... and your reasoning is "He doesn't have the players for his system yet" yet he is playing against much lesser competition as well.

His system isn't as great as it once was, defenses have caught up to it.

In the Big 12 he played against teams with no defense whatsoever. Not against Bama, Auburn, LSU, etc..

and CBB isn't going anywhere this season at all. This is an exercise in futility! Dude, Cmon!

He's undefeated in the package 12?! Do you not follow west coast football?! He lost to an fcs school this year but slip ups like that wouldn't happen here with better talent I don't think.

He went 9-4 last year and is undefeated in the pac 12 this year with a 6-2 record. I even said I wouldn't want him but lets not out right lie.

You wouldn't have to demolish the team as presently constructed... Actually it would be quite an easy transition. Leach's version of the air raid, unlike most, requires giant offensive lineman because the splits are so big and he likes to run the ball if he can unlike a Kingsbury or Holgerson. He's said in the past they throw it too much.

It also requires great possession receivers... Check again. Also he likes big defensive lineman and needs a skilled QB... It's all there on the roster already.

If anything, Leach's system actually is more taylor made for our roster like it is. Bert's vision of the team relies on the same things as Leach they just go about training and offensive philosophy differently.
Leach likes, big, physical teams, it's been stated numerous times.

I guarantee he would win a game or two more than Bert can with the exact Sam roster.

with that said i don't get all the fire BB hate. lol i mean we've won more games than the previous year every year lol what more can a coach do? like seriously what the frick more can a coach do besides get better every year. that's like the whole point.

[now if we came out next year and were 3-9 i'd be on the bandwagon. but you cdan't fire a coach that's improving every year
