I dunno what our deal is. I called Cincinnati's loss to us being their only one on the year, and here they are 6–1. After beating A&M tonight, South Carolina is gonna be 6–2 and ranked, with a loss to us.
After those two games, we just completely deflated. Nearly lost to a dogshit FCS team, lost to a dogshit Texas A&M team. Lost to a pretty mediocre MSU team, but at least that game we were down our QB and basically down to walk-ons on defense. The aTm loss gets more unforgiveable every week.
Hopefully we found our mojo again with BYU and we put away Auburn like we clearly should.

Injuries happened.
We were healthy and had depth to start the season.
Last few games we barely pieced together a healthy secondary plus losing KJ for the State game.

all of this, I fully expect a win at Auburn and momentum for the rest of the season. LSU is at home, OM is at home. OM definitely looks beatable. LSU... Not sure, but I believe they do as well. Mizzou... If we somehow, someway lose to Drink, I will explode!

They aren't bad but poorly coached.

Sam's fault now
Well he is the head coach dumbass, but he said I told Kendall to open it up last week. So yeah it is Sam’s fault.

?? Coaching is part of what makes a team good or bad, it's not separate. If you want to say they're talented then yeah they are, but they're pretty shite at QB, OL, and LB.
They're absolutely a bad team that should be 2-5.

Yet another season in which we frick the dog and lose to an A&M team that ends up with 5 losses.
Sigh.

Embrace it, it's what Arkansas does.
It still doesn't keep me from being a fan.
But in the back of my mind I'm looking for a path to 8 or 9 wins.

but this is what we are, or should be .. a 7-9 win team most years, with a down year periodically and an amazing 10-12 win season dispersed throughout Until it is proven that we can do it.
What Clemson did for a while.... What Iowa did for a while. There are others. I was hoping Sam would be the one who could and would do this. Not so sure now

Sam has done a good job of piecing together a competitive team through the portal and with his better recruiting classes hopefully he can build depth with the upcoming classes to where we aren’t dependent so much on the portal.
Sam knows what SEC talent looks like unlike some of these other coaches and he’ll do his best to keep us in the race.
We could have gotten drink and battled for last place with Vandy. Count our blessings….

It wasn't that we lost to A&M, it was the manner in which we lost. I have seen colossal frickup games for Arkansas but that one is in the bottom 5. I can't bring myself to watch the replay for fear of what it will do to my blood pressure.

Dumbo is the laziest coach in the SEC. A&M isn't as good as the recruiting rankings say they are but they aren't awful and were a lot closer to beating Bama than Arkansas. LSU was a good example last year of playing like shite the whole year but had 10 draft picks, Arkansas needed OT to beat them.

For real
I have seen some positive thoughts about our chances against LSU but I would really like to see some of these "automatic win" comments.

Sam took over an abortion of a football program 3 short years ago. We played like an uninspired high school team for the three years prior to that, with a coach who thought we could play in the SEC with 260 pound linemen.
There’s going to be setbacks along the way back from that. The A&M game pisses me off as bad as anyone, but we are day vs. night better than we were.
