Yeah, this sucks... But we have an incredible future with Pittboss. He is determined.

We will win a bunch more games with him!

No bragging, no catchy sayings, not a media darling, just put your head down and get to work. I like it

First time in a decade the game wasn't/isn't over when down three scores.

This with the kids left that Chad didn't r-u-n-o-f-t. Imagine if we weren't trotting out and relying on walk-ons in the back 7 on defense...

Cute of gus to slip in the Chad rebuilt this team talking point to the commentors, they got that one in but quickly moved on from the topic.

I couldn’t help but laugh when the commentators talked about how Chad almost teared up when talking about how proud he was of this team for getting the win last week. Meanwhile you have former players laughing on Twitter about potentially getting him fired twice.

Chad will get his. Tank carried that team. They’re offense is atrocious.

We did almost everything possible to lose and they barely snuck by.

Gus is gone after this year. This was probably our last chance to beat him.

Nah he's not going away this year. His buyout is still too much and I'm sure they signed Chad to a dumb contract. There also won't be many options this year in the coaching pool.

I think covid pandemic will save him this year unless they lose out which I doubt.

I don't think the coaching pool is going to be that big in these next three years. So Auburn might end up with someone that is worse than Gus.

Gus is the Nutt version for Auburn. People want him to leave but he wins enough to secure his job for another year.

and who among us during the Smile, Bert, and Chard years wouldn't have taken HDN results again?

BY the end I couldnt stand HDN, but now i have a bit more grace i suppose.

He was speaking very highly of Pittman recently on CBS Sports however. Though he was a great hire and would return us to winning! lol

I didn't really have a problem with his results. The problem is that he started acting out when he got a two year pass. He averaged seven wins a year here but he certainly could have done better in his last two years.

I met Nutt twice. Back in football camp and before a game in 04. My friend is GM for a CFL team has connections with coaches across the nation. He is one of his best friends. I spoke with Nutt but he didn't look in my direction but only at my friend. After that my opinion was more negative.

I met Hatfield and Richardson and they were a lot nicer.

Aboslutely understand, Dealt with HDN several times prior to his firing, and one the day of. I have stories, but I can't share them on here or publicly. Had a call directly from a BOT member informing me of his presser prior to it happening in a few hours. Knew of his OM hiring prior to it being released. He was scum toward those not in his inner sanctum!

I knew Nutt was gone when my friend said back in August or September of 2007 that he believed Nutt wouldn't be at Arkansas for very long. So he was giving hints that this was his last year.

So I suspect that Sexton got in contact with Ole Miss during the summer months. So they probably told Nutt that the offer is on the table but wait see what coach O does first.

I believe Nutt was already job searching when the 06 ended in a thud and fans were angry a bout Gus and the transfers. But I also think that after the 07 season, he was looking at more rebuilding years and would likely get fired.

He wanted another guaranteed 2 year pass to stay and more pay for his MSM staff. Wasn't agreed too.

Therefore he took the golden handcuffs. Crazy stuff.
