Edit: this was clearly sarcasm

guess it might've hurt our team chemistry if we had a coach that thought differently than them?

kinda feel bad for Gundy though, he committed a thought crime.

if he would just control his thoughts and goose step with the crowd he'd go unnoticed

Still a coach has to be smarter than to be publicly photographed wearing anything even slightly political in 2020

Yep, we don't want them coaches using their Guranteed first amendment rights....

If Lincoln Riley were phorgraohed at a fishing lake with a CNN shirt on, it would wither be a non story or he would get sucked off by the media for a week.

F- it all. Gundy has actual balls.

And BTW, anyone who has ever watched OAN knows its far far less opinionated than basically any other news network. It feels straight out of CNN from 25 yrs ago. It's just voiced over news stories from around the world.

But see, they have a hot reporter who dared to question the Wuhan hoax and the WH press corps hates her and Trump likes her... DESTROY GUNDY!! GRRR

I find it hilarious anyone would get offended by a t-shirt of a news organization. Wearing a t-shirt of a news outlet is the mildest old man shite you could do.

Local news and 24 Hours news entities aren't even comparable. To suggest so is ignorant or intellectually dishonest.

Fox News admitted to using doctored photos during their coverage of the Seattle protests. In a sane world, even in our insane world 30 years ago, that would be the death knell.

OANN is the newest incarnation that will pander to Christians with no reverence for truth. Since ~ 30% of Americans wont stand up to these peddlers of untruth, somebody has to.

Gundy has now asked forgiveness for his t-shirt transgression and says change will happen

didn't take long for him to get his goose step back in cadence with the crowd

Cancel mob - 1
Gundy - 0

I would have had them fire me for wearing a t-shirt and took my money and ran.

Damn folks, we are living in a world where a tshirt offends someone enough to closely become a part of the cancelled generation. Pathetic.

I work in the ministry, love my R&R shirts... I was an 80's rocker. Still wear em around, dont care.

And, although i am a Christian, i dont care what shirt someone else wears. If it offends me, well... Merica! Hopefully by example i can teach others, but golly gee... i wont demand it! Geeze. Watch Ben Shapiro for a bit. Get back to me!

This current cancel culture reminds me of the extremely conservative super religious hell and brimstone damnation crowd back in the day. But currently it seems to be the opposite end of spectrum, extreme left, that are moderators of free speech.

Wish we could find a happy medium and call it good. Avoid the extremes. You do you, let me do me and everyone lives happily.

You act surprised by his actions?

The infamous "I'm a man, I'm forty" stemmed from the media criticizing his player.

This is the same guy who was on the front lines of the post directional U victory locker room dance.

The guy who grew a mullett for his players entertainment.

Hesade a career of showing them how he'd be wanted elsewhere if they actually pressured him to beat 0U on more than a rare occasion.

Dudes always been a clown, he's fully entrenched in this clown world.

The only thing i am surprised by is the movement from his beliefs.

In some ways, but that isnt what my post was about... Not about him, but about others having to have things always their way. Panzy asses...

We are such a glorified pussy nation anymore. It is sickening.

I watched a video earlier tonight of a cop getting on a motorcycle and having a dude light his back on fire. The dude wasnt arrested, after other officer put the fire out. WHAT? doesnt matter the color, the sex, gender belief, walking, crawling, pink hair. Dude deserved to have been beaten and arrested.

Gundy should have stuck to his guns, just to infuriate the idiots.

I agree with what you just wrote. It is hyper extremist solidified by liberal ilk... There is $$$$ behind some of this... has to be.

Nothing, religion, music, politics, no agenda should ever be forced that doesn't deal directly with personal safety, liberty, and pursuit of life/living. Our freedoms are dying daily at the hands of this socialist agenda.

I didnt even know the news organization existed... Now i will check it out!

I agree. Just look at the pinko Commie Donald Trump clearing out a peaceful protest at Layafette Park so he could stroll across the street and hold a bible up in front of a church he never goes to. That socialist SOB!

As for Gundy and his freedoms. He has the absolute right to wear a T-shirt from OAN. His players have the absolute right to be pissed off he's wearing a T-shirt from a network that is famous for pushing conspiracy theories, making up news stories, and that has a... problematic... relationship with minorities.

I would have too. Now you have players dictating to the coaches what they can wear, and coaches caving.
Drew Brees is a puss for backtracking on what he believes.
This cave in culture has to stop.

if you believe any of this, and the rest.... I have some ocean front property in Truman to sell ya.

And, this is the point, i dont give a frick what you believe but i can still show respect towards you have a human being. Hopefully you can do the same. Nobody should be forced into group think.

And OAN may be a right wing, organization... but there are many left wing ones as well. Journalism as it once was... is dead

I know. I do know. You can't watch the footage of the cops beating up an Australian reporter because she was there. You don't want to be forced into group think of this was a horrible thing.

So. We will agree to disagree.

If I live to be a thousand I will never change your mind on this because it can not be changed. You will say the same for me, though I think, with far less evidence.

I am saddened. I will admit. Because you are a man of God. Trump parading across the street he cleared with violence to hold a bible, that he admitted was not his own, for a photo shoot should eat at your soul. Would Jesus support this?

When you meet your maker will you be able to say that you watched this and felt closer to God, even though one of the people driven away from the protest was a priest from that church?
