No there is no caveat. I'm not saying he should have been murdered buuuuuuuuut he didn't say thank you when someone held the door open for him at the post office once. That's all I'm saying. Also people don't want to hear it but this country is a result of a violent protest and every positive progressive movement has come off the backend of violent protests. Don't ask nicely burn shite until somebody actually listens because history has shown that is the only way to get people to listen.

Do you feel like this progressive series of protests are positive?

Fine, let's keep the conversation going. I plan on being civil...

Crime is crime... but who is committing the most heinious acts by category in the US?

Care to guess... This isnt some government conspiracy to harm one race over another... this is stats, stats dont lie...

Black males make up 35.4 percent of the jail and prison population — even though they make up less than 10 percent of the overall U.S population. Four percent of U.S. black males were in jail or prison last year, compared to 1.7 percent of Hispanic males and .7 percent of white males.
Why is this? Is the courts in the US Systemically racist? Are the laws written in such a way that African Americans, or anyone else for that matter are sentenced more than others? IDK honestly... but... While we are here.

Black vs White Crime Statistics Conclusion. It’s an uncomfortable truth but blacks commit crimes at nearly three times the rate that whites do. Blacks commit 36% of the violent crime in the US even though they are only 13% of the population. Blacks in England commit crimes at nearly three times the rate of their population rate.

So, what can we garner from this, or is it all made up as well?

I worked in the Intercity for several years with at risk youth. It was such a battle and yet i loved the challenge, because the few that got out.. well, it was incredible. Black, White, Hispanic, dont matter. Giving a hand up was a blessing.

I place all of this here, not attempting to pick a fight with anyone but to ask, and have a decent amount of discourse.

Now, my suggestions....

Place more funds in changing culture that leads to having such statistics to begin with. Social program that lead to education, training, pride in our country and in their/our lives. Too many folks are written off because of their pasts, their living conditions.. this needs to change. Instill pride, ethics, responsibilities, and civic duty in stead of the way things have been goind.

Anywho... We wont fix much of a thing on this site. But damn, we as a nation need to begin over somewhere.

No, no you're right, a lot of people either a/ don't want to hear it or b/ choose to ignore it.

Instead it is masks for all in nwa and no one can question it or you are apart of the problem

The CHAZ arky zone won't like it, but most sensible ppl don't believe a mask should be required.

I think context needs to be considered when making masks completely mandatory. Arkansas is a lot more rural than other hotspots, we can get away with a bit more. But now we suffer from a credibility problem since NWA became #1 for COVID explosions, so now it looks like we can't responsibly police ourselves. And, of course, the spike comes right when we decide to start slowly re-opening everything.

I'd go along with it because it's better to be safe than sorry, and I'm really wanting to get all this shite over with and enjoy a month or two of normalcy before the alleged second wave comes back with a vengeance. If masks help with that, then fine with me. I never thought I would be so goddamn bored of impending doom.

I haven't yet, but if they make it a requirement, I won't bitch and moan about it. I find them hard to breathe in, so naturally I don't want to wear one when I run if I can help from it.

I work in a kitchen, and strangely, I don't have to wear a mask unless I go up front. So I don't wear one when I'm in the back. They're uncomfortable and hard to breathe in. I really don't want to do it, but I want COVID to be dead and buried more than I don't want to wear a mask. I'm not a doctor or a scientist, so if the literature and research are suggesting this helps put a stake in it, then frick it, that's what I'll do.

I get really annoyed when I leave the house and realize I can't go in any restaurants without a mask and remember that I left it at home. I've started keeping several in my car so I don't have an aneurysm when I get somewhere and I'm not allowed in.

Only time I wear a mask is at the gym. For me I've found it helps me focus on my muscles and focus on my breathing.

The gym I go to has their reasons for making people wear one in between workout sets, but I'm not sure what they are. I'd tell them I was still exercising my breathing in between sets if I wanted out of wearing the mask.
