I hope you are right, if Musselman really wants him to return (not sure why he wouldn't) you know he will come up with some important things he can work on next year before the next draft.

Kevin seems pretty connected and has been hinting about someone else after Harris leaving. He could have been talking about someone else as well though.

Interestingly enough CBS updated their draft rankings after more declared and both Joe and Jones dropped a spot.

Joe from 34 to 35 and Jones from 70 to 71.

Jones is coming on ESPN Arkansas tomorrow morning for what it's worth

ESPN doesn't have Joe or Jones going in the first two rounds.

Joe goes before Jones, who likely won't be drafted.

I know that money to play overseas is tempting but staying one more year and knocking it out of the park would put both of them in the NBA.

Neither does CBS or any other mock for that matter.

Jones is passing up his senior season on a top 20 team where he could IMO quite easily at LEAST play himself into a lock for 1st round, if not potential lottery pick, to go play a year overseas somewhere. And he claims he loves Ark and CEM so idk.

It's weird and I don't get it.

Joe is coming back. 95%.

Eh the knock on him is his athleticism, that’s not going to change. Odds are very slim he’d have a season better than the one he just had. Not sure it’s a great idea leaving early when you could go undrafted but he could have an injury next year like Joe did and fall even further.

So I guess you have shifted from your early optimism?

Just felt like he was the type of guy that wanted to get out there and make money playing professional basketball, even if it was overseas. Which it most certainly will be to at least start.

The message he put out when he declared really felt like that was amplified.

I agree for the most part. He is getting the stigma of the "great college ball player but not enough potential for the next level". I don't think that general thought is going to change by coming back and doing something previous to last year. Obviously would love to have him back though.

Mason does love a chip on his shoulder so I wouldn't be shocked to see him make it on an actual NBA roster down the road.

We're starting a multi-year series with OU in Tulsa starting next year. Not a bad drive from NWA.

Irwin thought it was going to be a blueblood (Kansas, Duke, NC) in little rock.

Seriously though, this is a great series. Tulsa is pretty much in the middle of our two campuses.

I'm going to need a link on this. No way any report (even by Arkansas standards) believed that.
