Mullen is a great coach. Why no bigger program hasn’t pulled the trigger on him is beyond me.

Alabama is thin at linebacker right now and Miss State is damn good. That dive toss offense will test the middle of your defense.

Miss State is one of the better teams in the country and Alabama always has a target on their back. Alabama drops one almost every year. This is the game.

Another shocker is that Bama probably won't win a title this year. Their defense isn't good enough.

Not that it matters, but that may bode well for us.

Last time Miss State won a big game they lost the next week.

We are not beating state. Look at thier team. They are putting in 2nd and 3rd effort plays. Our players literally give up before the ball is snapped. The softness built into our team is disgusting. I'm just pissed watching this.

I'd hardly call a 4 point lead at the beginning of the 4th "putting it on" Bama, but it does show that they're at least human and beatable. I think too many times the opposing team sees Bama on the schedule or Saban on the opposing sideline and secedes defeat before the game is even played. It takes a great coach to pry that from his team's brains and bring them to their full potential.

it is fun to watch, and miss state folks are mostly good people. Enjoyed watching a bowl game of theirs a few years ago, the fans were a blast to be with. And those cow bells.. Geeze
