This is exactly what he does. If Conner hits one of his early threes the other team has to respect it and he can be a valuable asset. If he is off there is no reason to keep him in there unless the other team is undersized and he can be effective around the basket.

I like it and think its the best way to use him. He is a role player. Always has been. People need to stop hating on the dude like he is supposed to be some high level pro prospect.
