alright frick this we will be back to chad morris level bad if Pittman doesn’t can Carter’s arse yesterday and get on the phone with these boys. I swear it would be the most arkansas thing ever to have our CEO coach crash and burn just like LSU but instead of getting a championship out of it we get 9-4…

We might be losing a coach the guys play for. Only thing I can think of. This is pretty epic in regards to guys leaving.

It’s really going to put everyone in the shitter when the offensive guys start announcing.

Member when all the loud mouths said NIL and the portal was going to be great for us?

And how bad OU will be in the SEC? OU will step up and pay to win. They always have.

We don't and haven't for 30 years. Just going to be the same old story here. A day late and a dollar short for wee ole Ar-Kansas.

We have a ton of money, but its woke social activism money. Not the kind that goes to paying football and basketball players.

Yeah, we’re going to need you to clarify a bit in this one.

We do this shite all the time. Our fan base is the personification of the “this is fine” dog meme.

“Texas A&M coming into the SEC will be good for us.”

“Lol Auburn hired Gus, this will be good for us and we’ll own them now.”

“You can pay players now, this will be good for us.”

“You can bring players in via the portal, this will be good for us.”

“Texas and OU are coming to the SEC, this will be good for us.”

Seems to be hold overs of recruits by the previous coaching staff that are transferring

Likely they’re not fitting well with our current staff

if im guessing i would say all those LA boys are tight and he asked one or possibly 2 to transfer to make room for someone and it snowballed.

NIL

None of the transfers have shite to do with NIL. Good Lord, if money was flying like you guys act like it is then the FCS and group of 5 teams would be getting raped

why did they stay for 2 years then? And Slusher wasn’t a holdover he was one of the first guys Pittman brought in. Foucha was a team captain. This is simply denial on your part if you think this. And Slusher was from Oklahoma not Louisiana

Which is hard to believe after 9 wins and the effort we saw on the field this year.

Makes more sense to me that our "awe shucks, don't you just love the helmet" approach vs actually paying players what others are is the cause.

Burks got like 70k this year right?

I'll bet these guys going to LSU are seeing 6 figures minimum.

We did get Hazelwood though, so who knows.

I'm 100% speculating, just like 95% of others on here.

There is literally a public bidding war going on for Caleb Williams.

What are you talking about?

You think that isn't going on with lower profile players for less money?

And those teams are getting/going to get raped. This is just the beginning. It's the first transfer season with NIL.

Classic denial and why we're going to fall very far behind the top programs once again.

No NIL is going after Foucha or Brooks.

Yeah our cheap arse donors could hide behind the integrity angle as to why they don’t care about winning when everyone was paying players under the table but now that it’s all out in the open and the curtains drawn back they have to admit what’s always been the truth, the powers that be really don’t care if we win or not. I promise if we invested enough money into the program and paying the kids we could have a top 10 class. Hell it ole miss can do it with freeze and A&M can pull in a no.1 class we can at least be top 10

I’m talking about the Arkansas players. Neither one of the two guys people are melting over are anything more than an average power 5 player. There are way better options for a team to go after.

Brooks wouldn’t even be a starter at Arkansas if they had the talent to run a conventional defense.

Slusher hasn’t said he’s transferring yet

And even if he did, that’s what? Like 1 guy on defense transferring that Pittman recruited

See Mizzou. Their current class is heavily tied to NIL promises apparently.

True. Doesn't change the fact that he and Foucha are a big loss.

I'm not saying the sky is falling, just sucks for next year making a potentially lucky push for the west ala Ole Miss this year.

I'm fully confident we will remain ahead of teams like them, State, Kentucky, Mizzou, SC, Vandy etc on an annual basis.

Was just hoping the NIL stuff + Pittman would vault us into the mix/ahead of auburn in that 2nd tier of the SEC.
