I think the most fruitful way to handle NIL is literally Walmart/Tyson giving all the starters money to do give away shite. Like being Santa and turkey give aways during thanksgiving. Paying off layaways, shop with an athlete. Those would be beneficial to both Walmart/Tyson and the kids stock later.

If that doesn’t happen the other way I can see it being fruitful is a shell company that pays out based on stats. Like the old days, get a touchdown or big sack, $100 dollar handshake, get two touchdowns $200.

That could lead to more disgruntled non starters in the portal though.

How does one search the portal? Is there a secret handshake or code to get in said "portal"?

What are the odds we bring in Rowser and his brother, that was a 4 star and those guys leaving was making room for that?

Here's the link I've seen most folks using. Not official though.

Fifth Quarter SEC just tweeted that Hornsby has hit the portal. I don’t know if he’s getting that info from last night or he finally showed up. He tweeted it after the 11:51 update.

Following it like this is a fools errand.

The portal is open always. Mike Woods didn’t enter until after the Spring Game and Malik could ball out, then leave.

Well frick. As long he leaves the SEC, I’m fine with it.

We need to get some solid d lineman and it would be nice if we could pick up a piece for the secondary. Losing Hornsby sucks but when we signed him I figured whoever won the starting job between him and kj this season would stay and the other would transfer. Oh well

Dream scenario…Criswell loses out on the UNC job this spring and decides to transfer back to Arkansas. That would lessen the blow here.

SMU wouldn't be a bad spot for Malik.
