Have we heard anything on Mekhi Wingo? Mizzou board thinks it is Ark vs LSU for him.
Apparently LSU hired his old HS coach. Probably going to LSU.

It’s as easy as us all starting an LLC. and funneling money through that LLC. to a player we have a deal with.

It’s not rocket surgery. aTm figured it out.

Amen.

Hell, Texas did as well. Out in the open.

It’s not that hard. Hell the mafia has operated with shadow corporations for over 100 years. You telling me we can’t get a couple of ‘no show’ $100k waste management consultant jobs set up?

Rumors are Slusher and Chablis are hitting the portal as well but I doubt these are true. I think at least some of it is people going complete meltdown mode acting like every scholarship player we have is trying to leave

Before we point fingers- Direct quote from a parent: “He treats them all the same. They (DBs) are used to being treated differently. The last coaching staff treated the 1’s like Gods. On a pedestal and only to spoke to the 1’s in the film room. Now they are treated equally”

Twitter reporting so obviously take with a grain of salt. Diva issues a possibility?

Assume this is referring to Carter or Odom? Or Pittman and the general approach of the staff?

That’s a bad look on the players. I remember when the players talked shite about Morris for treating walkons and non-starters like they were nothing. Separate wing of the locker room for walkons and all that. Now it’s bad everyone is treated the same?

I would assume it's about Carter since she specifically referenced the DBs.

Carter only coaches corners. Odom coaches safeties.

Considering the only complaints coming out are about Carter, I'd just connect the dots.

It was in reference to the Carter rumors

There’s a rumor floating around that the NOLA/SELA kids were a clique, and that when one was processed they basically all said frick it we’re out.

Who knows if true, but worth noting that this started snowballing with the Louisiana players.

Somethings off on those numbers. Ole Miss has like 15 guys in the transfer portal.

Granted, key word in that tweet is “currently.” LSU had a shitload of kids portal after the A&M game.

Will be interesting to see how all this shakes out between now and the beginning of spring practice.

if this is true then that is horrible roster management on pittmans part. If you don’t know cutting one mediocre guy is gonna cost you 2 of your better players, then you don’t have a very good understanding of your squad

Meh, take it with a grain of salt.

Not to go full Andy Rooney “kids these days” but this generation is a nebulous cloud of weirdness, feelings, branding and self promotion, myopia, and hypersensitivity.

We’re seeing a complete paradigm shift. College coaches used to be able to be unquestioned and autocratic with how they ran their programs, but players now have a ton of power with unrestricted transfers, social media, and NIL.

The players are in control now and have more leverage than ever before. The football teams of old use to be like the military and the coach use to be a war vet. General Neyland as an example. Now it is the opposite.

These kids walking away after a 9 win season after committing to us at our worst and taking the lumps on the way to where we are now just blows my mind. Like... Are they just dumb or what?

Kinda hard to say you have no faith in the coaches when they turned shite around the way they have.

And if there was actually a NOLA clique then, well, they shouldnt have been here in the first place.

Hate to lose Foucha after the bowl game performance he gave, same with Hornsby... But this really seems like the last of the Chaggy culture getting the F out which is fine with me. Hopefully Pittboss has some magic he can work.

Maybe, but I think it's no coincidence that the transfer rules change and something like this suddenly happens. That's not a generational thing
