Am I the only person that equates portal season to ripping off a band-aid? I hate the circus surrounding it. Wish I could disconnect from all social media until the roster is finalized.

Porn. Lots of porn.

Or, for a more wholesome choice, I watch a lot of nature documentaries this time of year.

I started following European soccer somewhat seriously this year (I know, I know. Damn near having to hand in my southerner card.). The competition structures are so much better . I love everything about the Champions League and promotion/relegation. Plus it falls right in that dead spot where football ends. It's actually the perfect bridge in the offseason.

The key is to find some team that hardly anyone in the US knows about. Celtic or the Rangers in Scotland for example. Then, while everyone else is going on about who is going to take the EPL title this year you can be all in on "F*ck you Dumbarton! Take that L back with you!"

Why are you speaking in German? None of those words make sense.

I settled on Dortmund. Got a soft spot for Swansea City too, but they're arse.

So, getting back to the portal, apparently we're getting half of Georgia's second team it sounds like from "insiders"

At one point in time does Sam’s connection to Georgia end? He’s been gone for four years now.

As long as Kirby is there I think we're golden.

He's probably good with Kirby and with some Georgia HS football coaches. Not a bad situation, but it also means Georgia hand me downs. Just have to hope they make a mistake on a few guys and we can Coach them up.

Not exactly a recipe for a NC, but it's a start if they can also evaluate and recruit elsewhere.

Faster and a lot more agile than Franks. I’d say Matt Jones is a better comparison
