That seems to match up with Musselman's thoughts on how his interview process went in that HY was very methodical, up front and direct.

Now people are saying that a deal was in place with Kiffin and Yurachek but the BOT pushing back on it made Kiffin hesitant so now he's waiting out on the FSU job

Eh, that has kind of been pushed for the last two days now but other reports have FSU targeting Norvell and if the offer that was reported is true, Norvell is not turning that down.

I don’t buy the BOT interference thing. People are just getting antsy and making up shite imo. I really think it’s as simple as waiting until after the conference championship game. Kiffin may not care but HY does I believe. Doesn’t want to look bad by stealing another team’s attention before a conference championship game.

I'm of the personal opinion that interviews are either still being conducted or have just finished and that nothing is in place and the Kiffin being a done deal is smoke from Sexton.
But, like the rest of the internet, I don't know shite.

I don't think it has anything to do with that. I think it just came down to Hunter wasn't ready yet and by his logic, if Kiffin wants to be here he will be ok waiting just like Musselman was

So not only do we have unreliable local media spreading fake news but we also have Jimmy Sexton working/spreading rumors to give kiffin/other clients the best position and pay day possible. Fun times

If that is the same source that other Ole Miss fans have brought up, that guy went on to say he still thinks Nappier is the coach so not sure that what he said really means anything.

I may be misremembering but I thought someone on here posted an old quote by HY about waiting to hire a new coach. Could be wrong.

Hmmm, not exactly sure what you are referring to but don't remember.
I'm just taking what Musselman confirmed about Hunter letting him know it would take time because there were other coaches he wanted to interview. Maybe Hunter does an internal policy about waiting till their conference championship game. I just don't think he would potentially miss out on his number 1 for that reason.
