There's just no way that game should not have been televised

I assume i like many others watched it on periscope.

The video board at NLR was fantastic. All you had to do was add a set of commentators, or hell, just plug into the radio play by play, and broadcast the feed back to the sec studios in Charlotte over the internet. You wouldn't even need a satellite truck.

It just seems like a no brainer and easy setup, that could very easily have sufficed for a SEC+ broadcast. It just feels like there was something else at play here as to why the game was not video broadcast tonight.

You’re not sure if you watched it?

It's not new, it's the same circumstances every year playing this game and at Dickey-Stephens Park in baseball.

Radio only. No TV or streaming.

With CBS ending broadcast of SEC football in the future, will be interesting going forward for Arkansas. Does the SECN or ESPN broadcast the LR football game every other year or not.

I know the day after Thanksgiving game was going to be a big change if CBS got the contract again, but now get ready. That Ark vs Missou game is going to be lived to Saturday and get buried.

Espn getting all of the sec broadcast rights is not going to be a good thing for Arkansas.

And if they refuse to broadcast from LR for football, then fricking end the contract immediedtly. There's no if ands or buts about it.

This seems more of a ploy to get people to the game than a change in not going to Little Rock or not.

This has happened every year with this stupid Little Rock game in basketball and baseball.

I can understand football but y'all take the spirit of the GSD to basketball and baseball with all the games in both seasons?

I definitely don't think the football game should be played in Little Rock, where we have to rent the stadium and lose seats.

The basketball and baseball game I wouldn't care if they televised it.

There is no excuse in 2019 for a SEC team's basketball game to not be televised or available to watch online.

They should just quit playing these stupid Little Rock games.

Or they could schedule a better opponent, back in the day there was a contract with Okie lite/ou and stAte, of course stAte couldn't hold up their end of the bargain and Arkansas had to bail them out.

Simmons bank arena could provide a good opportunity to add a NCAA tournament site environment for experience and a neutral site to the resume with a marquee opponent.

Of course the University would first need to recognize the Little Rock games for the neutral sites they are, even if it pisses off a small portion of the fanbase in doing so.

You'd think that all these people who keep pushing for games in Little Rock would be embarrassed by this shite by now. It's like stepping into a time machine and going back to 1955 when we go play down there. I heard next season our football team is gonna board a train and take that down to the river and get on a barge to get to War Memorial Stadium. Where they'll play tackle football on concrete.

When did “different” start meaning better? Of course it’s different - our all time shooting % down there drops 10 points comped to playing in the Bud. Then you consider the fact that we are something like 12-9 (great home court advantage there) in that shithole and yeah..... it’s different. We were on the verge of being blown out by Valpo - a below average mid major - late in the game. Something that never happened this season at our true HOME.

That game was loud..... for lil rock - but I can name at least 50 games that were louder in NWA. Just go down the line of all the classics in Barnhill all the way to Gafford’s dunk against Tennessee or the block windmill vs Vandy.

You want to hear the loudest crowd then watch the game winning duck vs Kentucky. NWA set the standard. At least you lil pebble fans got to watch the that classic moment unlike games in Altell-Verizon-Simmons.

all i know is that everyone seems way more impressed with the little rock crowd. seems like maybe the university should invest in the arena and add a few games to offset the cost.
