We have an opportunity to bring tFlagship back, in case you have not noticed. Everyone is lurking around just waiting for the opportunity. Those of you who joined post 2012-13 really do not understand the magnitude of which this board was run by Arkansas posters.
With a win today, Arkansas likely starts 4-0 and buys us at least 3 weeks of being on a mountain top. We then play aTm(usually a close game, so who knows), then we have a bye week. We are legit looking at a possible 4-5 of the next weeks of being 4-0 then 4-1. We can roll with that and the band can get back together for a bit and hit the rant like it's 2010.
The opportunity is there...we are all still here.

This game is also huge for recruiting. Some are saying OL Garrett Hayes is paying very close attention to seeing how the Hogs play. If we show out or at least show gained in improvement, we might have a leg up in his recruiting.

Yep. This is the game of the season for us. Win and we might get some momentum. Lose and we are almost certainly guaranteed to languish in last place.

Arkansas should beat Ole Miss tonight, IMO. The only problem I see is our youth. When you're playing that many freshmen types anything can happen. If Arkansas can't beat Ole Miss I won't be paying much attention to football the rest of the season, because as you said, we would be almost certain to finish at or near the bottom of the SEC again.
As I see it it's gonna be a race to the bottom between the Hogs and the Mississippi schools. However, if Arkansas can win this game, they may also reel off a few more wins. The scheduling for A&M sets up fairly well and Mississippi State can be beaten by anyone considering all their suspensions and whatnot. Kentucky can be got too.

If we win we have a legit shot at a bowl game, especially if this gives us momentum to reel off a few more.
If we lose I am not sure this team has the fortitude to bounce back. Until proven otherwise we have to be front runners.

I lurked then, and it was beautiful. Corn dogs were so gloriously butthurt over tFlagship of the SEC.... it's just indescribable. I forget who coined the turn, but it spread faster than wildfire, and nearly all Hog posters were using it within a few hours.

God I can't remember going into a game the last few years against such a shitty opponent feeling like the course of a season, or even our coaches career here depended upon victory.

Sao called us tFlagship university in a random thread and one LSU poster went bananas asking him why he thinks shitty ol Arkansas is the flagship university of the SEC. The rest of us saw an opportunity and the rant was never the same.
