BOT is supposedly meeting in Hot Springs this week for their usual meeting.
If its not done or leaked that its coming by Thursday it isn't happening.
But then again why rush, Sampson is still in the tournament.
If this meeting really did happen and the rumors of required staff changes were true, it likely was ugly. Mike isn't up for that.
Hopefully he tried to say Bama was interested in him, in which case HY said, Mike you get your butt on down there and turn that program around. I'll even remove your buyout.

That stuff never happens at usual meetings. The BOT has let Yurachek know where they stand on Mike.

I'm not even gonna check the sauces. No need. I was one of the last holdouts I know. Not that that means anything, but the folks I do know are likely to feel the same way.
I wouldn't think he will be around much longer at this point. They may give him next season, but if Mike is planning on doing more mercenary recruiting due to transfers it ends up looking like you're delaying the inevitable.

Which is probably true and exactly why our program is in the position that its in.
We should have moved on after the 16-16 season 3 years ago.

My thoughts on probable scenario...
Mike already given word earlier that he needed to make some assistant changes.
Asked today by HY what those were going to be.
Mike not about to change any, partially out of loyalty but mostly to make them fire him or keep him. He'll take the buyout from the firing.

Having Nolan tell them on national TV to get fricked with the court naming thing. Bad optics. Hamstringing our ability to hire someone new. An athletic department embroiled in controversy.
He isn't untouchable though. Those are just the concerns I can see.
