He ain't leaving Tech. We fired Anderson HOPING to get Beard. Now, we're fricked. Whatever hire we make will be the wrong one.

Correct. Whoever we pursue, but don't hire will have guaranteed success in the future. We will manage to hire the exact wrong person.

I was mocked when I said Mike should be fired 3 yrs ago for Beard. It would have been the shrewd, smart move, obviously.
The guy showed more in 1 yr at ualr than Mike had done in his whole career.
I sincerely believe he is the best coach in the country.
We have no shot at him now. Be real, folks. It's over.

If I'm a big nba brand that needs to develop a young team, a la, Brad Stevens, I'm calling Chris Beard.
I didn't know about his euro pro coaching stint. That would probably help a lot for hesitant GMs.

I’m hearing it’s Muscle Man. But Jesus I hope not. Marshall is a better and proven coach. Muscle man is nothing but a gamble. The last thing we need is the “Chad Morris Experiment 2.0” in our basketball program
