Smith and Black impressed me the most.

Smith had several open threes and didn't make any. Hope it's just an anomaly. Rest of his game looks solid.

Black didn't attempt any threes, but I'm VERY impressed with his passing and driving ability.

Walsh looks like he will be a floater type player on offense. Much like Toney was this year. He's still pretty raw offensively from what I saw tonight.

I think what hurt Walsh is this game is set up to make guards and rim rockers look good.

I’m also pissed they wouldn’t put Walsh, Smith, and Black on the court together.

True, but he still has a lot of growth ahead.

Smith and Black are for sure starters IMO.

Black played under control on offense, made some great passes, and finished with nice touch around the rim. His defense looked fantastic as well.

Smith is all gas no breaks, and I love it. He's really going to force the issue much like Notae. Made some great passes, and nice shots around the rim.

Have you guys watched the Overtime YouTube video on Walsh? From a month ago.

Really good stuff behind the scenes and at Link Academy.

If we could find a pure shooter who plays defense, that might be worst spending one of those transfer spots on.

Smith/Black with a lethal 3 point shooter to feed could cause some problems

He's got to add some weight.

Very similar to Toney right now. He has the furthest go of the 3 for sure.

Black and Smith were fire though.

Updated with Brazille. UltimateHog thinks he will be a starter, which I could be open to. But for now I’m slotting him down for a 6th man role. If Toney doesn’t return that will obviously change things

Someone also mentioned we could see Toney play in the back court with Smith and Black, with Brazille and Williams playing the 4 and 5. I could see that

Currently have confirmed:

6 incoming freshman
1 incoming transfer

3 with expired eligibility
2 confirmed outgoing transfers
1 draft declared

7 in, 6 out (+1 open spot). We would be full if we stopped right now. Which means for every additional transfer commit, a current roster member we will have to leave

I feel like Devo likely transfers which I would hate to see. Seems like he brings good energy to the court at times. Really improved his shot this year from 3 as well.

Vanover will be pushed out, he won't see any minutes next year, he'd be better off at UCA or somewhere of that caliber.

He probably wouldn't start at UCA.

Immediately after signing another NIL opportunity with Raising Cains ...?

That would seem a bit odd to me!

Somebody needs to slip Vanover some HGH, tuna fish, and directions to the weight room.

It would probably slow him down more though.

Every day needs to be leg day for him. I can't believe how little height he gets. He got rejected on a dunk by a guy like half his size in the Cinci game

I thought the same but figured that would cross over to where he would go. I hope he stays but can easily see why he'd bolt for a chance to start. He will get the same minutes this year but not start.

I don't think he ever had the work ethic and he never showed any toughness.

You have seen peak vanover

hes not getting any better than he is right now. they tried HARD to get him better, but his shot actually got WORSE.

He needs to go, now. This roster has no room for novelty players.

I doubt Vanover gets to stay unless Williams leaves.

I wouldn't mind J Robinson sticking around though. He could fill a role on the team with his shooting.

This is my biggest issue with him. I was never expecting him to be some great big man for us but he couldn't hit the open looks he got from deep, he got so many open looks at the beginning of the year and 1-13......

Muss gets the benefit of the doubt but I'll be seriously confused if he isn't processed.
