And then there's this gem of a thread posted by a mod on the basketball forum:

This sums up HiV to a tee. Mods that think they're winning at life by moderating a message board and essentially dictating what can and can't be thought by other "fans."
Someone pointed out that there were many people saying they were done with the program if Mike stayed - including mods - and THAT was a fine sentiment at the time. That kind of statement NOW though? PERMABAN!!!
Those that like to troll over there better get in while the gettin' is good.

That is awful. I think my favorite part is a the other mods jumping in to back the original guy up. He clearly said it but they’re going to try to spin it anyway. Gotta admire that dedication.

It was nothing too crazy. I have a friend that's a huge booster. He invited me out for drinks with Bert. Bert got loose lipped and told us his true opinion on players and depth chart.
Most of it lined up with what he was saying to the media, but not all of it. With us he could drop the coach speak he uses with the media.
I can't remember the player, but Hogville had pretty much anointed some player as the next Vinny Acolese(spelling?).
Bert had specifically been way down on him the night before, but always diplomatic in front of cameras.
I just tried to convey that this player probably wasn't goin to pan out, but I couldn't say Bert told me.
Anyways, I got completely lit up with Irwin leading the charge.

Something else thats hilarious. If you ever click on one of Wilsons or Lannys menstruation threads. You will find another problem. Any time they go on a tirade about cleaning this place up. Or banning people over stupid shite like say disagreeing with a position the mods have determined to be beyond question.
If you click on such a thread you will instantly see all of the arse kissers who encourage the egomanical behavior. Way to go Wilson. Yes ban us please Lanny !! We are all in desperate need of you telling us what to think. And so forth.
The only way to save that site is to ban all the mods and send Lanny on a permanent vacation. What makes discussion interesting is a diversity of thought. That site is the equivalent of the Nazi party and NO true Hog fan should support that kind of bullshite. Its unhealthy.

The thread that's locked in the jump ball forum, I questioned him about Mike Irwin and other media about providing so-called privileged information. I asked what actual correct information did Irwin actually provide during the search and why did he need to be protected so much being such a tenured media member/journalist. Wilson totally deleted any and all posts agreeing with my stance to make it look like the only posts there were ones that agreed with him.
You would think being a media member as long as Irwin has been that he would verify with their so called "sources" before putting out any "information" instead of just spreading more rumors like every other person can/does. Media can attack the coaches and give out shitty information/rumors. But they cant' take the flack for spreading bullshite?

I've had the BoarEd account over there for a long time now and rarely ever posted there. I liked reading the jump ball forum even though I didn't participate in the discussions.
Not anymore. What the frick? Yeah, I was trolling a little, but I wasn't doing anything different from what Mike was doing. Spreading bullshite. The difference is that he was hearing his bullshite from someone else supposedly while I just made it up. But I never even proclaimed it WOULD be anyone. Always formed it as a question.
Then someone says I was "trolling" and it turned into a shitfest.
I suppose it's because we were talking about trolling them over here, but I wasn't actually trolling until they deleted my threads. Which I was posing possibilities for discussion in the coaching search board. Then I called them all out on it and got the ban hammer. It's fricking crazy. It's like they monitor this site to know if we poke our heads over there. If so? BANNED.

Come on now...the entire existence of Christianity is that God did do something to fix those issues. The fix was a man a named Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection simultaneously satisfied the punishment due for those sins and put humans back into a right relationship with God himself.

I am very bored so I went into MMQB for the first time in like 2 years. They have a 7 page thread (would be like 14 here) over if Chad Morris will be fired this year. There are many that agree with the statement.. there are people over there who truly believe we had enough talent to won 6 games last year, but I went to the LSU game. We were smaller, slower, and noticeably less explosive than then in all phases. I just have no idea what some of those guys are smoking. They keep talking about how bert had recruiting classes ranked just like the last one we had, but completely ignore that like 75% of all of his top heavy 4 stars aren't even on the team anymore. We were a team of 2 and 3 stars.
I seriously only post in the recruiting forum over there. Since most of the idiot fans there do not go into that forum (because being uninformed is par for the course of being an idiot) it's a much more sane spot on the site.
It's just a site with nazi mods, and a high collection of really stupid uninformed posters. You either have guys who are the biggest Homer's ever, or you have hawgalude posters who are negative about everything. There is no happy medium there. Most of the posters are over 50, and just do not get internet culture at all. They all love Andy Griffith and are the most cringey fricking posters ever. There is a dude there with like 3000 posts and the last 2000 are him just posting "Go Hogs Go!" In every thread.
Also they have that really retarded dude named benny who fancies himself as a talent scout/evaluator who posts giant walls of text. Dude is a complete moron who thinks micah Smith, and ty storey are NFL Caliber athletes (I am not making this up. He still to this day defends these assertions)

Pharmacist Hog is a pretty decent mod. One of the best posters with the most objectivity is Al Boarland, and they rake that dude over the COALS every chance they get. If he calls out a coach, a play call, a practice, a recruit, anything....they bash that dude nostop even though he's right most of the time. It is quite humorous to watch him rustle their jimmies so much

Al boarland used to piss me off incredibly how much he ragged on bert during the 14-15 seasons, but now I see that he was just right about how shitty of a coach he was. In 2015 Toledo and when we had that FG blocked against miss st instead of letting Brandon (who was the best player on the field that night) win the game was when I knew for sure he was just a stupid fat frick who needed to go.
Al also was not right last year during the early part of our recruiting. He kept bashing our players saying they were just 3 stars, and then they all got bumped to 4 stars. It made him look quite stupid. His realism is partially just being super critical, and negative most of the time. I've grown to not hate him now though.
