Surely, you don't think that us not winning this past year had something to do with not being good enough to win the conference. It is really going to be hard to have discussion in the future if you believe that had anything to do with it.

How about we establish a rule here? The peanut gallery can shut the frick up. Especially if they can't come on point.
I have more than defended Mike Anderson. Wanna know how I know? Because to the people who actually fricking matter and draw up contracts, he is standing at #2 in the SEC right now. And I hold the same position.
Evidence? His contract extension.

Arkansas wins 6 conference games tops.
I also keep hearing about this rebuilding year, but notice all these one and done type coaches seem to reload every year. They do that with quality coaching. Talent is in Fayetteville. The coaching isn’t.
I can’t wait till Chris Beard drills ol Mike right in the rear next weekend. That seat will get real hot after that.

Are you talking about the contract extension that Jeff Long & Co drew up? Yea he’s no longer here, probably because he thought Mike was the 2nd best coach in the SEC

You seemed to have missed my point. I don't disagree that there is more to it. I'm just pointing out that you can say the exact same thing about the sec record.

You caught me, that was a joke. But I have full confidence that a basketball minded AD like Yurachek knows Arkansas under Mike Anderson is not 2nd best in the SEC

By the end of this year we’ll be 5th, probably in a few weeks actually.
If Mike gets another year we’ll most likely be 7th or 8th. Thank you for pointing out that upward trajectory he keeps referring to as well

I was just pointing out that that comment was my personal opinion but I am gonna drop that (I digress) because it isn't entirely honest.
I was being honest in telling folks that I was being dishonest, in retort to their own dishonesty.

He will fall to mid pack after this year, and in life, this year is what matters. When your making 2.2 million nobody cares what you did 2 years ago if it all appears mediocre. Had Mike made some deep tournament run in those 4 years he would get the benefit of the doubt. He hasn’t earned that in my book.

His winning percentage is going up too.
Last time I looked it up (been awhile back now) his winning percentage was closer to 65% than 67%.
That might not seem like much, but the closer you get that percentage up to 70% the closer you get to titles

Yea I meant 4th but also forgot A&M sucks worse than we do this year, next year after Gafford leaves we’ll start tumbling drastically

I just can't be happy with the 5th most tournament wins in the conference with the 2nd most appearances. That's underperforming.

Mike’s winning percentage will not be better at the end of the season than what it is today.
