for being horrendous enough to get fired in 2 years, if not we'd be stuck for another year or two like State, OM, Carolina and Mizzou.

He REALLY had to suck and he certainly hit the mark. I think even 4 wins would have kept him safe this year. Unreal how low he set the bar. Easily the worst I've ever seen the Razorbacks be at football.

We said the same thing with Berts last season....

Chad comes in and "Hold my beer"!

I tried to be excited because of the Texas Recruiting hoopla, but in all honesty it was theatrics. We must, without a doubt get this hire correct.

Yup. Watching MSU and thinking thank God we already cut our dead weight.

So are we putting 100% of blame on Chard and giving this 8 win in 3 years roster a full pass?

Seems like they never fully bought in to me.

I actually think Morris left us in better position talent wise than Bert did. Our DL, WR and QB’s in particular

This is where the real statement lies, IMO. He sucked so bad that even some of the most solid recruiting we've ever had here wasn't enough to give him time. When you can recruit that well and still not be wanted, you have to be complete arse in pretty much every other aspect.

I blame Chad. He is absolutely awful as a FBS level head coach.

Maybe the worst.

Part of a coach's job is to get their team to buy in

They definitely bought in. They checked out when it was obvious that what they bought was garbage.

We didn't get out-talented by San Jose State. We got out-coached.

Yes. Chad seemed to be pounding square pegs in to round holes every week. Never adapted his offense to the players he had suited up.

Is he the worst hire in SEC history?

Hard to say. Orgeron at Ole Miss was bad. SCAR had a couple of back to back winless SEC seasons once. But Morris was just so bad in every area. If he's not the worst then I feel bad for the fans that had someone worse.

The only other coach in SEC history to coach more than one season and never have an SEC victory coached at Suwannee.

Lots of reason for that probably.

The first of which is that he ran it like a small town football team, favoritism and all. His game planning was about a McCrory HS level. Put all that stuff together and he was getting whooped every week.

Shoutout to Gus for getting blown out this week and making sure we don't hire him.

Yeah man I’d hate to be a top 15 team and lose by a touchdown to a top 5 team. That would totally suck.
