Landon Jackson put on 40lbs of good weight over the offseason. Finished last year at 238, weighed in at 283 last week. Kid looks like he hit a string of anabolic and got ripped. Says he's feel's better and faster than he ever has.

Saw on social media that one of the players squatted over 700 lbs today

Believe our strength and conditioning will show off this coming season

Who’s the new S&C guy after we ran off the cancer last year?

Worked with Pittman at UGA and has been mentioned as a culture setter by players. I've been drinking the Kool-aid

So, remind me why the last guy was a cancer. Don't remember what went on there.

Sowing seeds of discord and aiding malcontents. Talking of one getting more nil than the others, how they aren't being used on the field like they should, etc is the rumors

I smiled through the whole interview

Pittman admitted to pulling on the reins in practice last year out of fear of injury from body piles and regretted it. Said they've been practicing 3rd and short/4th and short/goalline a lot. Expect us to throw more and obviously we all knew Enos was going to use the hell out of TEs. Said we've been very vanilla the past few years on offense in terms of packages and personnel.

He got me to drink the kool-aid with this one.

I don't know if our record will reflect much of a change, but I'm fairly convinced we'll be a better team than we were last year and that's all I can really ask for.

Schedule screws us once again with that four game stretch.

IF they go 1-3 or 2-2 it will be a really good year through those games all away from Fayetteville.

WK 1 - Western Carolina - LR game
WK 2 - Kent State
WK 3 - BYU
WK 4 - @ LSU - First SEC game
WK 5 - TAMU - Arlington (lost home Fayetteville game)
WK 6 - @ Ole Miss
WK 7 - @ Alabama

WK 8 - MSST
WK 9 - BYE
WK 10 - @ Florida
WK 11 - Auburn
WK 12 - FIU
WK 13 - Missouri

I absolutely loved what he said about getting recruiters.

"Good recruiters are always gonna be good coaches as long as they know what they're talking about because they know how to sell it."

So spot on and it just made me that much more grateful that he's leading the program now. He gets what it takes to win nowadays.

Given our run of injuries last year I can see why he was cautious. No team really stays healthy during the SEC run but it would be nice to not be absolutely snake bit this year.

Yeah I can definitely understand it, but after hearing about Georgia's "bloody Tuesdays" or whatever the hell it is it completely reinforced my belief that you should be popping each other in practice. You can't get better at what you don't practice.

"You play how you practice." was drilled into me my entire life. Relieved to see Sam seems to be of the same mindset going forward.

They paid the price against a physical Cincinnati team.

They have to do better than last year.

Lost four games by a combined nine points is irritating.

One thing to take into consideration is Georgia’s depth, but we should be practicing more physical than we were.

Anyone that works for UA needs to shut up about the tough stretch in the schedule.

We did it to ourselves, it wouldn't be anything to moan about if the Texas A&M game was at home. It makes us look dumb and weak
