Very excited to see him transfer and have success after Pittman is retained.

If they’re worried about him not being able to hold a block then they might as well move him into the offensive line rotation

Teslaa can’t get separation vs D1 competition but he never leaves the field.

Pittman seems to have favorites that are often white “lunch pale” guys that he tries to force feed onto the field. Sategna’s speed threat makes up for blocking because he requires two defenders if we use him right. Also, having big receivers to block downfield with this team’s shitty oline blocking is pointless. If we’re at the point that Teslaa is that important to the blocking scheme bc of size/strength, then we should just be putting another TE on the field to block.

The funniest part is that we targeted fricking Francis Sherman multiple times in the passing game . But hey Enos is a qUArtErBaCK GuRU so that's all that matters.

I don’t think being white is that important, but he definitely favors “blue collar” guys.

Pittman has the same fatal flaw as Bert. He falls in love with certain guys, usually upper classmen and won't budge, even when a much more talented young guy is on the bench behind him.

At least Houston Nutt, as stubborn and flawed as he was, would usually put the most talent on the field that he could. Bobby did the same.

It seems this has been a huge trait that has plagued all staffs for the last decade+. It's like they don't like explosive players on offense.

Chad didn't even attempt to target Burks as a freshman in the endzone....

Fair enough. But he definitely appears to play favorites as opposed to put the best players on the field. At this point, the risk is worth it for his own sake to make that sacrifice. We aren’t exactly Bill Snydering anyone with hard work and gritty toughness. We’re getting trucked… I’d like to at least see guys like Sategna get shots on more than just dopey trick plays and if they show why they shouldn’t be playing, so be it.

Did you all not see him drop the ball twice in the aTm game? That, and possibly route running and blocking (that was mentioned earlier in the year) are what's keeping him off the field.
Speed is great, but you have to be able to check other boxes as well.
Lou Holtz once answered a question about a fast player not playing with the reply that 'yes, he can get to the wrong spot faster than anybody on the field.'
