Doesn't help that failed drives get magnified even more now with the new rules. Something I haven't seen hardly anyone talk about is how Kent State only got the ball one time the entire 4th quarter.

Our last three drives:

12 play touchdown drive that went 91 yards in 6:28

15 play touchdown drive that went 73 yards in 7:54

11 play drive that went 61 yards and burned the final 6:05 off the clock

Makes up for that first quarter where we barely touched the ball

Yep. Honestly we had the ball pretty much the entire second half. Kent State got the ball 3 times after halftime.

3 plays for -16 yards in 49 seconds

6 plays for 20 yards in 2:40

10 plays for 70 yards to get stuffed at the goal line in 4:11

Not even 8 minutes of possession out of a possible 30.

He lost to Liberty, at home.

No matter what else you decide to believe about Pittman, you can't ever forget that.

Liberty.

Liberty.

yep, he did... And yet he brought us from the depths of hell, had many injuries, and I am a forgiving dude when remembering the JLS/Bert/Morris regimes... Perhaps you are not as forgiving. WPS!

Our program could elevate itself just by consistently going to and winning bowl games right now. New era is on the way. We just need to be able to land transfers and make the top 12. We're capable of that.

That’s some pious bullshite.

We just want Sam held accountable for a shitty line play for the past 3+ years.

Especially considering Nick Saban, Bill Belichick, and Mike Tomlin wanted the job so badly, right?

How? What's the punishment? Do we make him run bleachers for it?

Why are you morons making our disdain for line play about what the job was 4 fricking years ago? He has had 3 full recruiting cycles (4 total), and he can’t put together a serviceable line.

So you are purposefully obtuse or your mother drank while pregnant. Quit conflating the two. This is about Sam having a shitty line, while being “all world line coach”.

Sam was a good stop gap, well the gap has stopped, especially if we get manhandled by every SEC defensive line.

You can thank the foundation that you've paid your hard earned dollars to for that.

They've wrecked this football program.

He got rid of his safety blanket Odom finally. Make a move on Kennedy if after 3 years he can’t put together a line, but the recruiting is all on Sam.

I nor anyone else is expecting perfection, but we are expecting improvements. This line has been shite for 4 years now.

Which is true of what, 85% of the coaches in college football? Recruiting is all about betting on what a young man is going to be like, a year or 3 down the road, and there are no sure things.

I do think that Pittman may be recruiting to his own personality, which is more teddy bear, when what we need is grizzly bear.

Sam stopped being a line coach about 3 years ago. He is now a head coach, which means that instead of having 15-20 guys and 1000 things to worry about, he now has hundreds of guys and 50,000 things to worry about. He proved last year that he is willing to make changes when things aren’t working. If line play doesn’t improve, I’m sure changes will be made.

We have barely clawed our way out of the sewer, and you sound like you want to fire the coach that pulled us out of it. The very thing that is certain to put us right back in the sewer. Brilliant.
