KJ’s best throwing quality is his ability to hit the deep ball. With the way we run the ball we are going to get one on one matchups outside. If we are willing to take shots early like we did against Aggie we have a shot to get some quick scores but if we play it safe and try to run it down their throats then we will go 3 and out all game. We need to throw early saturday to setup the run later. JMO

Their CB's are the weakest point of their D. If I'm their DC I wouldn't let Burks ever be 1 on 1. I make Morris, Thompson or Kern beat me. We have to keep their elephants up front off KJ. Oline will have it's hands full.

We need to tell kj to be prepared to throw under pressure. If I’m the coaches I’m constantly hitting him with sticks and bags all week as he throws the ball. I know it’s hard to replicate game pressure but we need to prepare like we know we’re going to be getting hit all game

Lots of quick bubble screens to the wideouts or to RB’s motioned out of backfield to then setup fake screen deep balls.

I think they rally to well for these to work. We need to just take our chances with burks and morris on the outside, catch and throw trash can balls

Go back and watch the Clemson game, Georgia has still not been tested vertically all year

I plan on taking several shots Saturday, so I'm covering my end of the deal.

This is the key matchup. We are the best O-line they've played and they are the best D-line we've played. I am encouraged with how we handled A&M at the line of scrimmage.

I would still focus on running the ball heavily and then try to take advantage of a deep ball or two when the safeties move up. Going to have to win some battles up front offensivley and defensively to have a chance.

I imagine Kirby will try to stop the run and make us beat them throwing. We will probably have to pass to open up the run.

I'm not worried about KJ throwing under pressure at all. Seems like half of his completions this year have been with a hand in his face. That bomb to Burks was no different.

Agree with taking shot but I think it more important is going to be 3rd/4th down conversions. The starting 22 for both teams is pretty even. UGA's big advantage is depth. We're going to have to eat clock and shorten the game.

One thing I will say, we can't have Smith in the game for short yardage situations against Georgia. Didn't work against A&M and it sure as hell won't work in Athens. Rocket or Johnson needs to be the guy on 3rd/4th and 1.

This

Pound, pound, pound, with some deep shots.
On D, keep everything in front of you. NO big plays.

Here's what makes you guys so dangerous, you have nothing to lose. You can take shots and if you lose, you lose. Our CB's are super athletic but unexperienced. USC beat us deep a couple of times. I expect you guys to take plenty of shots down field on Saturday.

Not true, we have a few fan bases dying to fire off the threads if we lose this weekend

While I mostly agree, what I'm afraid of and what we absolutely can't do is play off the receivers on third down. This will be our first game against a competent quarterback and the last thing that I want to see is no pressure on third and medium with easy completions.

A big part of preventing that will be 55 and 99.
