We have a few veteran players who are great in scrimmages but don't perform when the lights come on.

Sadly I don’t see it. Eventually you’ve got to call it what it is. We don’t have a great rotation, we don’t have great all around defense, this team was supposed to be carried again by its offense and so far that has been the teams worst area of play. Imagine the last year we had ryne stanek if we had a team era over 4. That’s the equivalent of the projection to reality we are seeing from this team. I have a feeling sec play will not be kind to us AT ALL. That said we do have actual talent at the plate so like some teams in the ncaa tournament if we can just get into a regional and get hot maybe we make a run. But you are setting yourself up for disappointment I believe if you expect this to be a top 10 team or one that challenges for the sec

Warning: This is a rant/melt.
This is not a top 10 team at all. The fact that Kole Ramage is the first guy out of the pen
and then DVH is still trying to rely on Zeb. Wiggins needs to move back to the pen and another guy should be given a chance to start.
There has been no improvement in the development of our staff. Young guys are pulled at the first sight of struggling, but veterans like Ramage are given a chance to work through their struggles. I don't get it.
Don't get me started on the lineup. Veteran guys like Webb and Slavens continue to get the majority of playing time while they continue to struggle at the plate and the young guys once again don't get much PT.

Wiggins has a 2.60 ERA he hasn't been that bad really, don't think it's time to make a change just yet.
Webb I agree with but Slavens probably gets a longer leash because of the year he had last year, he has been benched in a couple of the doubleheader games. He's just so up and down. Get a feeling tomorrow will be Lanzilli/Gregory/Bohrofen in the outfield with Diggs at DH.
The schedule has been pretty easy but we're 6th in the SEC in ERA. I've been way more disappointed in the offense than the pitching. We're basically throwing every pitcher on the roster right now to see who we can trust so it should look a lot different by the end of the year.

Seems to me that year we were ranked preseason #1 and proceeded to shite the bed.
I won't go full Dale Denton, but so far this team is in deep shite come SEC play.

Nowhere close. I'm afraid this is gonna turn out to be a disappointing season, considering all of the pre-season hype. Pallette was a blow, but even he can't take away the blah-ness of this team.
