I don’t see how you people are still blaming van horn. He literally went to the guy half of you were begging for in the 9th and he had an unequivocally worse outing than Noland did. Idk what you want van horn to do. The pitchers have to just not suck at some point

Oh sure now the wind shows up this inning

Maybe someone can throw strikes tomorrow.

Who starts tomorrow? Hagen Smith?

I don't see how going with Noland who is still tired and not ready to go was a better option than Tygart.

I want his to finally win it all. he has played timid, favoring seniors, and not having the pitching needed at time, our approach at batting the last few weeks have been terrible as well.
I will be completely honest here. DVH is a heckuva coach and I support him. But we have been spoiled with almost disease... Almost after a period of time, just doesn't feel good anymore. I wonder how he will handle the presser this time.

frick you Matt Hobbs and lack of fricking development in the staff. I hope this motherfricker is gone.

Well, 1 game season now. Hope we can find a way. Who starts tomorrow? Smith?

Sure but you go with the closer who is ready to go and would give you the best chance to win. Going with Noland who wasn't ready yet was a bad move.

Can the commentator just go ahead and marry Roc? Jesus Christ. I can't stand that loser.

I think we probably see like 6-7 pitchers going 1-2 innings. Zeb, Tole, Ramage are probably our freshest arms.
We’ll have to score double digits to have a chance. It’s certainly doable verses this osu staff.

So, the ncaa pulled a MLB and juiced the balls for the postseason right? Nobody is scoring more runs than our regional but holy shite there have been some high scoring games

I’d almost rather Smith come in for short relief if needed. He looked shaky as hell yesterday against this same lineup.
At this point maybe you go with Morris or maybe even Ramage.

quote:This is what needs to be addressed. DVH shouldn't only have 1-2 realistic options for an entire series. How many pitchers have actually improved once they've gotten here, and how many have we seen waste away in the bullpen and transfer out?

I'd be willing to bet that ratio isn't pretty.
