How many actual hits did we get? Are we learning to play small ball when needed or relying on Homers still?

What stuck out the most is when we needed a big hit we finally started getting them. Lost in Battles grand slam was a clutch hit by Turner. Huge props to him. After getting put on blast this week, Turner has had a huge series.

Also love the attitude from DVH and players post game. Go Hogs!

Dave basically said in the post game that every pitcher is available today except for Noland and probably Morris.

Glad the boys sacked up and fought back.

Once we cut it to a two run deficit things were looking good. Then OSU expanded back to a 5 run lead, and I thought that would be the nail in the coffin for this bunch. But they proved me wrong and FOUGHT. Showed a little emotion too which was nice to see.

When watching on squeeze play (the show that jumps around between all games) it was funny because even before the 8 inning, the commentators were acting like we were going to win because all the momentum was starting to shift. It didn't take a genius to know this but they also talked about how 10 runs certainly wasn't enough to win it. Not sure they were thinking it would take 21 though.

Good lord DvH. Stone cold.

Hope they stay this pissed off for the next 9-10 games.

Hopefully the rain doesn’t Jack with us. Raining here at the house (Tulsa metro) and a little hail mixed in. Looks to be okay in Stillwater right now but sever storms forecast for all of our region tonight.

Don’t need a team opposite of us getting extra pitching rest right now.

Bob Moore made it pretty clear when he said they haven't done anything yet. I appreciated the, "we had our bags packed for Omaha last season and then 48 hours later."

Kind of hope the chip on their shoulder gets a little bigger.

5-0 Bears in the 2nd. OSU starter getting drilled and no arms left.

Reading the OSU board last night I guess this is normal all year for them. Said they blew a 9 run lead to Baylor just recently and have no bullpen arms and no one to reliably get an out.

It shows.

Damn MO State.

Hot take - keeping an eye on what’s going on in UNC’s regional but is playing at home for the Supers even the best case for us? Maybe what has let them relax some this weekend has been playing on the road. Thoughts?

Yes ofc. Much rather play at home especially against VCU.

But far from over there. UNC up 4-0 on UGA and they can beat VCU twice.
