Stillwater Regional
NCAA Regional: June 3 - June 6

No. 1 Oklahoma State vs. No. 4 Missouri State
No. 2 Arkansas vs. No. 3 Grand Canyon
VIEW BRACKET
Ticket Information
Since the regional is not being hosted at Baum-Walker Stadium, the University of Arkansas only receives a small ticket allotment to accommodate player/coaches family guests. Fans interested in purchasing tickets can purchase directly from Oklahoma State.

General Public All Session Tickets go on sale through Oklahoma State on Wednesday, June 1 at 10 AM. Click here.
General Admission/Standing Room Only tickets will be $60.00 per ticket and includes all 7 potential games.
Single session tickets will go on sale at the stadium 1 hour prior to each game if tickets are available. (1 game = 1 session)
Note: Since Arkansas was not selected as a host site, your credit card is not being charged for the initial NCAA Regional ticket request you completed for potential games played at Baum-Walker.

At the chance that Arkansas does host a Super Regional at Baum-Walker Stadium, your Super Regional ticket request will still be valid.

It seems the committee is looking at who is hot right now for these selections and can make a run to the CWS. Arkansas is ice cold and had quite the fall and thus put them as 2 seed on road believing they would fizzle out. But I don't know they can be honest with these selections.

Hearing Varnado and Soliz will probably be entering portal. I dont blame any of the freshmen outside of Stovall and Smith for wanting to transfer. They came here to play and not sit behind a bunch of struggling arse veterans.

That seems sort of crazy considering how many starters are moving on after this season.

Had the same thought.

Unless DVH goes absolutely ham on the portal, those guys are going to see the field next year.

We'll need to expect players to at least flirt with the portal every single year as long as it exists.

Its effectively a free option for players. They can leave the portal and come back, as did Hornsby. Doesn't mean they stop working out or cut off conversations with our staff.

I wouldn't be surprised if more players enter or are rumored to enter the portal and a fraction (~1/2 or fewer) move on going forward. This goes for all sports.

I read somewhere that 100s of kids who entered the portal for football don’t have spots and that’s happened a few years in a row.

This won’t be good.

I actually believe that number is thousands of them who hit the portal, are not picked up.

Numbers are pretty staggering.

A lot of these players shouldn't be hitting the portal and just accept the hard truth that they are not any good.

I hope this is the case.

I’d love to see how the scholarships are being spent. I would like to think that is reevaluated every year and that’s why guys move on.

Ultimately we’ve got to use NIL money to make that irrelevant. We should be able to pick whoever we want in the portal but I can see why someone would want to play at Missouri for free than pay his way at Arkansas. Hopefully Yurachek can move us in that direction.

I thought it was thousands but I didn’t want to get shut down for over exaggerating.

Not any good or should have went D2 or accept your spot as back up?

A greater amount play at the division one level need to transfer down if they want playing time. Unless a particular player is at Bama and just didn't want to wait then they will find themselves with the same problem again.

Sometimes the portal is beneficial to players like John Ridgeway who transferring to Arkansas ended up getting him drafted. That had more to do with recruiters overlooking players like that.

So it benefits more players at the the top programs who don't want to wait at schools can now play at second rate programs such as Iowa State as an example. It also helps very good division two players move up and prove themselves when they couldn't have that chance in the past. The ones who don't benefit are the mediocre players who play at mediocre programs, transfer to another mediocre program and still can't start. These players need to transfer down. Even if they find ways to start at these schools, they really bring nothing special to the table and are used more as filler until they can get someone better.

To summarize: GCU can mash against their seasons competition. RHP heavy. Will make some errors and kick ball around. Decent at attempting to steal, but will get caught. Left side of infield is weakest.
