Is this like a lock the team in the batting cage situation or take them to Silver Dollar City to give their minds a break situation?

Here’s a very concerning stat — we’ve scored 4 or fewer runs in 15 games this year, including 6 of our last 8 games.
Of those games where we scored more than 4, one was game 2 against Ole Miss where we only had 3 on the board until Diggs’ walkoff homer, and the other was the rubber match against A&M where the game was essentially over in the 1st inning and we were playing catch up the rest of the way.
Yet again it feels like bats are going quiet at the wrong time of the year and thus we’re having to stretch our closer across more innings.

It is a midweek game that essentially does not matter....BUT...Not a good trend going right now for the team.
Not sure what is going on...my belief is there is not any true leadership on the club that you had last year with Opitz and Kopps. You cannot point to anyone on the roster that you can say, "This guy is not going to let us lose" whether that be on the bump or at the plate.
Moore came up pretty clutch many times last year but he is batting below .200 in SEC play this year and doesn't even have half of the HRs he had a year ago. Part of me things having Leach in the regular lineup would not be a bad thing, just for his emotion he plays with. This team needs something.
Stovall is basically now a no show and IMO may not crack the starting lineup again this year.
Guess we will see what happens this weekend...but it definitely will be a dog fight to come out of Auburn with 2/3 games.

Agree wholeheartedly, especially this:
This team is missing Opitz in a big way for his leadership. He had a bit of a down year offensively last year, but he could turn it on in crunch time and had some clutch hits, and he was fiery and passionate. To your point, the closest thing I see to that in terms of playing with emotion is Leach and sometimes Webb.
On Moore, I’m at the point where I think he just is what he is this season. Eklund said on the broadcast during the Ole Miss series that if it were earlier in the season you’d simply explain it away as an early season slump and that he’d round back into form, but this late in the year we just have to reckon with the fact that this just is his 2022 season.

Moore thinks he is this guy, but you can't have "that guy" hitting .200 but playing good defense and expect to be in Omaha

It looks like Arkansas needs to win 2/3 of these last three weekends to be a comfortable national seed.

Winning 2/3rds of your SEC games doesn't go as far as it used to apparently.
I really can't see us being a 9 seed. If we're that close we'll get a national seed. A packed baum stadium is good for the sport.

Interesting that Gregory is back in the lineup but Stovall is out again. Figured as much after Stovall didn’t see the field Tuesday night against Missouri State.

Turner 1-5 fielders choice groundout as Cayden thrown out.

If he slides, he is safe.. why are we half a retard when running the bases?

Moore has just fallen off the table as a hitter. I know that was a great pitch, but he missed two before that one.
