I believe just one loss will do that. Doesn’t Saturday for the semi turn into single elimination?

I'm just still in awe that we beat what many consider the most talented team in college baseball without even having arguably our best hitter. I know this team shouldn't surprise me at this point but man we're good.

I think it should be fairly noted that Vandy was also missing Carter Young, who leads the team in HRs and RBIs. Really surprised that neither Rocker nor Wicklander looked sharp. Glad it happened here, rather than next weekend.
Hogs are good man. Very mature. I hope we can enjoy another one on Saturday and then in Omaha.

I'm not surprised both pitchers struggled, neither one knew where the strike zone was at.

I think that had more of an impact on Wicklander. He was missing small. Rocker was all over the place after the first. Leadoff walks were a killer.

Dave Van Horn with the DVH "another day at the office" sort of quotes.
I do not say that to knock Vandy, who has a great team, but to illustrate how DVH has kept an even keel throughout this season.
I thought he might, if not tank, at least take the foot off the gas, during the SEC tourney but now I suspect his reasoning is do not deviate from the norm. Treat every game from here on out the same way we've treated every other game.
