I suspect that DVH hits the brakes early. Once he gets the SEC regular season title... he puts the pitching rotation into deep freeze and tries to get some miles on pitchers that haven't seen a lot of innings.

He would probably try and get away with having his third string second baseman pitch every inning in the SEC Tourney if he could, in the hopes that he would get more time to rest his starters.

Now that is funny, and probably correct!

ACC has just announced 100% capacity for baseball tourney.

Surely the NCAA will not keep the rule at 50% capacity for regional games.

Looking at the forecast for Thursday , looks like rain.

Dead Lord, not another DH, let's play Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

You would assume so, but SOP of governing during COVID has had nothing to do with common sense, available scientific knowledge, or doing what's best long term. It's primarily been via CYA.

Ladybacks with a good draw I guess. Stanford could be tough but should win this regional and host Arizona.

He found out, according to his sources, that a reason Vitello confronted Van Horn was one of the nation’s best junior college hitters — Logan Chambers of Bryant, Ark.

Chambers committed to Vitello’s Tennessee baseball program on April 15, but the sources told Kirk that Van Horn and the Arkansas baseball staff have continued to pursue him.

Vitello isn’t too pleased with that.

With a chance to clinch the SEC West and overall titles, Arkansas will keep left-hander Patrick Wicklander in the Game 1 role for the Florida series, but right-hander Caleb Bolden will move into the second slot and there is still a TBA for Game 3.

Head coach Dave Van Horn mentioned right-hander Peyton Pallette and left-hander Lael Lockhart are options to start the series finale, but they could also come out of the bullpen in the first two games.

For real, that's normal in every sport.

What's the story on this kid though? Why is he at JUCO and what sane person would go to Tenn over Ark let alone being from Bryant.

He's apparently always wanted to play for Vitello ever since Tony was at Arkansas.

So me and the Mrs. are gonna make the regionals, what should we expect ticket wise? Would rather avoid GA, but will be fine in the hog pen.

Remember when Bert cried because Urban did that to him? Then we hired him. That was fun.

With how much Leach has played and how well he has done, not surprising.

Anyone think we get this one in? My weatherman skills are limited to walking outside and looking up.
