Edit LSU out of that

He went 2-2 against them and one loss was in OT at LSU

I get what you are saying Dale. But Morris only had a couple of months to recruit in that first class. Its an unfair criticism. So I said so.

Also with regards to your points about who he played last year. Who else was he going to play ? He didn't have all that many scholarships to give in that two months of recruiting. I know that young receiver came in and helped out some. I have no idea if Morris will get it done here or not. And I'd bet that he'd be the first to admit to all of his mistakes.

Playing true freshmen qb's ? IDK maybe he wanted to redshirt them and bring them along slowly so as to not destroy their confidence ? It wasn't going to be a good year anyway. Bert made sure of that.

Record aside, I don't think he ever finished higher than LSU in the Western standings.

I would take that bet...

Since he already had both of the signed QB's replacement committed and was planning taking another grad transfer... and the better prospect of the two has better prospects on the diamond...

No lets just trot Storey out there to call plays the team is incapable of running.

Again Harry yes he did turn SMU around. Like here he walked into a bad situation. And yes he did win there. It took him 3 years to get it turned around. It will take at least that long here. Do you only eat tv dinners bc a meal takes too long to cook ?

fricking millennial.

Well you said beat but we finished tied in 2010. We had the tiebreaker and why we went to the Sugar Bowl. Bama was a whole different animal for Bobby.

Yeah. I get it. I remember him beating LSU. Those games were actually fun to watch.

He couldn't ever beat Saban though and I think it eventually cost him his job at Louisville too. He "guaranteed" he would beat Alabama and got shite stomped.

Good coach, but defense is important.

Bobby mother fricking Petrino destroyed Jimbo Fisher. And Mr Fisher had nothing but 5 star guys at every position. But Bob either struggled to recruit bc of what happened here or just stopped recruiting. And it cost him his job. But he was still the best coach at Arkansas since Holtz. And Jeff Long threw away what could have been an awesome season over what amounted to nothing imo.. That is why Jeff no longer has a job here. Mr. Integrity. And NO I will not argue this shite with any of you. Bobby is a hell of a coach. He just should have never come to the bible belt to coach.

Munson was a true sophomore who played his arse off. Truly a great little football player. Sure was. Are you attempting to blame some loss on Munson? Which one?

Jared Cornelius came back to help the team from an injury and medical redshirt.

I remember you. You're the tough guy who ends up implying that you want to physically fight because of how big of an internet badass you are. You're like literally a Meet Me At Sonic guy

You'll get no argument from me there. Great coach. Not elite.

Saban is elite and Jimbo Fisher's entire life is a train wreck. He went into a season ranked #1 and lost 5 fricking games.

The only other time I saw that was with USC back in the day. The problem for them though is they were under scholarship reduction at the time. They didn't have the depth.

Fisher has no excuse and Aggy just hired that guy for record cash.

But yes. Petrino kicked his arse. Then guaranteed to beat Saban and got his arse kicked...again. For the 9th time.

Uh, no. I have never tried to “fight” someone online.

Where’d he end up? If he was one of the best why didn’t he und up at a P5 school?

Cornelius came back to show that he was healed to help get a shot in the NFL. All he did was undermine the staff and bitch about the fans.

Harry is confusing you with me. I challenge people to IRL fights on here all the time. It's fun. In no way are any such challenges meant to be read any other way than an attempt to be humorous though. And he knows that too.

He got them back to the level June Jones got them too after 30 years of being a wasteland of a program.

So if you argument is that he will get Arkansas back to the level Bert has Arkansas, historically speaking that has never been good enough for a head coach to keep his job at Arkansas.
