It really is beebe... I admit that of all the 4 star guys he got none were on the offensive line. Having said that my HOPE for this season was 5 or 6 wins. Yes Hicks knows the offense, but the receivers are young the o-line as stated is still a problem AND we don't have any depth at all at RB or LB.

None of this is the fault of Coach Chad Morris. Rome wasn't built in a day. IMO it remains to be seen if he's the coach to fix Arkansas. What I do see is a guy who is upgrading the roster and to some extent learning the SEC....He reminds me of HDN in some ways and of Frank Broyles in others.

Regardless the PTB know that he inherited a dumpster fire. So he will be given enough time to fix it. Once he has the talent to compete then we will see how good or bad his coaching is... Worst case scenario he has elevated the talent level here.

The defense will likely have to carry the team this year. Unless we can get a couple on the o-line to step up.

Wish we had better depth there, no doubt about it. It's been the A1 reason why we have sucked shite through a straw for like 3 years now.

Can't say the man isn't recruiting hard though. It'll just take time for him to polish the turd Bielema left him with apparently. Arkansas is kinda like a laughing stock in football currently.

We need to win some goddamn conference games and maybe recruiting will pick up.

Harry Rex I really don't think you are being fair. Unless this is just your schtick ? Morris barely got here in time to recruit last year. And most fans are smart enough to know that a coach needs time to get his guys in, especially in football. It took Bobby 3 years to turn things around. And that guy was a hell of a coach.

Other than signing some of our better classes another positive sign imo is that the guy does a lot of scrimmaging. At least that is whats being reported.

Honest question here.. Are you just butt hurt over Bert ? I know a lot of your buddies over on fagville spent day after day slobbering all over Berts knob. Repeatedly banning any one who said he was a shite for brains drunk. Do you miss your butt buddy ?

Well what I mean by that is that he doesn't miss Bielema. Because he isn't an idiot.

I wanted Bielema fired before anyone wanted him fired, dipshit

edit: I can go back and say that about Houston Nutt as well.

It's lazyass posters like you who can't think beyond somebody being "loyal to the previous coach," because you don't know shite about the game, and, again, you're lazy minded. Thinking is hard for you.

One of the reasons that Berts shite show got us into such a deep hole is the censorship of the media. And that includes sell outs like Lanny and that piece of shite place he tries to pass off as a message board. Its a propaganda for the UA board. Go too far from the mods opinions and you will be threatened or banned. The Arkansas media is the same way. For years they all sat around afraid to criticize a drunk fat piece of shite. We are going from power football to RPO spread. Common sense says it will take time to get the right guys in to run your system.

The guy has won everywhere he's been. He won at the highest level of Texas High School and his recruiting so far is the best we have ever had.

The media views it through the eyes of the people who make the decisions.

It's foolish to get down on a coach if the coach still has the support of the admins. It isn't a hill worth dying on.

I doubt that dipshit.. I never wanted him hired in the first place. Slow as frick Big Ten football in the SEC !!1 I had a thread deleted and was given a vacation for saying so but continued to say so anyway.. Repeatedly...

You are over here saying he could improve the o-line in the what 2 months he had to recruit in year one ?

DIPSHIT.

If you think I was popular with the brass and status quo at Hogville, then I'm just going to mark you down as someone who simply can't read.

I'm honored that you researched me on the internet though.

Petrino improved each of his first three years.

Is "bad" first year saw him playing the most freshmen in the country, that team could of/ should of made a bowl game that year, coaching decisions and youth led to 3 loses that shouldn't have been, they only needed to win one of those to make it to a bowl.

Chad comes in pushes round pegs into square holes, then pushes the round pegs out the door at the end of the season. The majority of people could stomach true freshmen gaining experience in a 2-10 season instead of saddling up on the back's of players you are going to encourage to transfer at year's end to go 2-10.

Chad would be getting a lot less flack if he played one of his QBs instead of trotting two guys he showed the door at the end of the season. He would be receiving less flack if he made the most obvious anyone who even casually watches Arkansas football's need a priority in recruiting instead of a late period scramble to sign bodies.

He definitely would be smooth sailing into the coming season if the most obvious need to be filled, the thinnest group on the roster, the least talented positions on the roster didn't have 3 guys go down with knee and should injuries.

No I didn't research shite.. I was read only before I found this place. Mainly bc I always got a laugh at reading all of the fricking retards agendas over there... To the best of my recollection guys like you and that queer Mckinney had their mouths all over Berts dick for years.

If I'm wrong fine. Sue me. But to be attacking Morris when anyone with half a brain knows he inherited a team with absolutely no speed. Defensive linemen playing on the offensive line bc Berts lazy recruiting and no talent whatsoever at the QB position. Comes across as someone who misses Bert.

Was Morris my first choice ? Nope. I would have rather had Norvell. But Morris is the guy as a fan we should all give him time to get some talent in before we decide that he can't get it done.

You know, you can give a guy time and still be critical of his decision making during this x year pass?

You shouldn't do carpentry naked, but if you do, don't expect people to feel sorry for you when you hit your dick with a hammer.

Chad needs to learn when to put the hammer down.

I would have rather had Venables. Still would have been building the Clemson model here, but starting with defense first.

I like good defensive football teams more than high flying teams. I loved Peteino, but I hated how we could never beat Alabama or LSU. Why? Because both those teams field pro level defenses. They would just play Petrino in nickle and kick his arse.

I also didn't like how we would score like 48 points against Georgia but give up 52.

I want to see hard knocks defense.

But I digress. I'm a Venables fan.

Chad's "won everywhere he's been" Dale. He "turned SMU around", with a losing record. Only a genius could accomplish that.
