And the one he had in the NFL.

And if your alma mater doesn’t trust you with a long leash, you probably aren’t that great.

Saban and Urban both failed at the NFL level. And FYI this isn't the NFL.

Some guys just aren't NFL coaches

Enos REALLY needs to cut out the fricking delayed handoffs, especially on 3rd/4th and short.

That delayed handoff to Johnson on 4th down earlier was one of the dumbest play calls I've ever seen, especially since they've been wrecking the left side of our line.

Neither failed at the NCAA level ever. Kliff did.

Hahaha. Nice troll attempt. He was there for how many years before he was hired by an NFL team?

Agreed. Just stick to the quick hitters right now.

Right now, Brown doesn’t look back at all. Seems slow as can be out there.

I watched the post-game interview and Pittman seems pretty touchy about the OL questions.

Pittman needs to actually start getting his teams ready week to week instead of trying to be Mr nice guy with everyone.

We watched Chad Morris fail his way up from SMU to an SEC job. Let's not act like this is unheard of.

Morris improved his record each year at SMU going 2–10 in 2015, 5–7 in 2016 and 7–5 in 2017.

I wouldn't exactly call that failing up. He was also the OC for a Clemson team that had an incredible run.

Also currently KK is coaching at a major program and will get another job an HC very soon. Morris never will.

You can't even compare the 2

5 years, which isn’t a long leash it’s just playing out your contact. He wasn’t hired away to the NFL he was fired and the Arizona Cardinals hired him because they were drafting a moron 5’8 guy that they are now trying to trade after the worst contract.

So you want to hire Kliff because he is as good as Chad Morris, the program killer?

Are you a legit retard?

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. He acted like a baby but for once couldn't just block people from Twitter asking tough questions. I'm not a Biddy fan at all but Biddy locked Pittman up and it was amazing.

Sorry buddy, you switched agents and now get like 6 million a year. Answer the tough questions like a big boy or you'll be on your boat on Hamilton a lot sooner than planned.

I watched the exchange with Biddy and didn’t think much of it.

Pittman straight up said the offensive line wasn’t blocking well, we weren’t blocking well on the edge, we weren’t moving the LOS, etc.

Biddy asked if he was auditioning linemen because several played. In a weird exchange, Pittman said no and then basically said yes in a manner of words and ended it with overtly saying “I guess auditioning might be the right word.”

The only twinge of pithiness I heard was when Biddy ended the exchange by saying “you don’t really see many teams do that” to which Pittman curtly said “okay.”

That's marked improvement every year, but it's still a losing record at a G5. The guy somehow parlayed that into a theoretically (lol) competitive SEC HC gig that ended in the most predictable way. It's maybe not quite "failing up," but it set every associated party up for massive failure.

They won two National Championships, made the title game two more times, and then made it to the playoffs and additional two more times. All after he left. And there's somehow still the narrative he gets credit for that. That's even worse than saying Gene Chizik "coached" Cam Newton to an NC, because at least Gene was present for the accomplishment. That isn't a flex.

He's the QB coach for USC. Right after losing a HC job in the NFL. That's a step above collecting unemployment at that trajectory. He may get another shot someday, but I don't know why you think that's foregone. Only a place as stupid as Arkansas would hire him, but we do exist, don't we.

Back to the O-Line

I'd do some movement and see what happens.

Wiggins in at OC.
Move Limmer back to RG.
Kick Latham out to LT.
I guess flip Braun to LG.

Reasoning:

We have no true LT because neither are strong enough.
Limmer is a better OG then C - he doesn't have to worry about snaps and whiffing against the man in front of him. He appears so focused on delivering a good snap it affects his get-off.
Latham has never been great run blocking because size but plays hard so kick him out to LT.
Kutas at RT will get the experience and seasoning he needs playing this season.
Braun isn't a powerful run blocker which you really want at guard. IIRC E'Marion Harris had a good bowl game last year at guard.

Timing and experience is very important on the O-line.

Also coaches have to decide on whether performances are different in games than in practices.
