Need USCe to keep winning, they are barely sliding into that Quad 2 game qualifiers. Our non conference schedule is really helping us as well now. At least 2-3 teams we beat have a solid chance of winning their leagues.

I’m on the muss bus and all but the lack of time out usage at crucial points in the game is getting old.

We just have a really bad problem of choking, and going long stretches without scoring.

CMA nor Muss can fix it so far.

The thing that sucks is Jones had the game of his life and if he makes one more free throw we win

Eh, we also have at least two double digit come from behind wins in the 2nd half of games on the road.

I think the blown leads are more of us overachieving and coming back to reality.

Doesn't affect FT shooting.

Or the multiple bad possessions late in games, especially final shots. Harris for 3 in a tie game with that much time left? OOF that was bad.

Jones dribble into double coverage and fire up a literal prayer like we're in Georgia Tech and that miracle is going to happen again?

Yeah a wide open 3 to beat the 11 team is a terrible spot to be in. The shot didn’t go, we ran out of gas. That’s hoops. Not everything is a coaches fault.

On the other hand, we had a great look to win it in regulation with the last possession. Harris just couldn't hit the open look.

That's the one I'm talking about. You have your worst shooter on the team taking a deep mildly contested 3 when all you need is a point. Anyone else drives that ball.

Maybe have someone that can shoot 3's take the shot? Not your worst shooter? Only thing I can think of that would be worse would be if CMA was still here and it was Bailey that took it.

Harris was the second best 3 point shooter on the roster still eligible to play at that moment in the game.

Joe out with injury, Desi fouled out, whitt hasn't hit a three all year, Bailey isn't actually a more viable option behind the arc than Whitt.

The better question is why is the last shot always drawn up to be a three instead of a drive to the basket or mid range jumper.

This is what I said twice.

Anyone else with that much time left, and a tie game, drives the ball. Not a deep mildly contested 3 from one of your worst 3P shooters.

I don't remember it being contested at all. We just saw Harris hit a clutch shot like that on the road last game. Also, besides Jones, Harris was the best person we had to shoot something like that. I do agree he had time to drive though.

It wasn’t contested and yes he hit a dagger 3 against Bama. Some our fans have the memory of a rock.

The three has been drawn up in all of these close game losing shots.

Perhaps it is the players and he is taking up for them in the media, perhaps it's the better option than driving and putting the game in the refs hands. Tonight a wide open three may have been better than a no call foul on a drive leading to the same result.

That wasn’t the drawn up play, Jones had the ball, got double teamed and guess who’s man it was? The guy who had a wide open look. Is he supposed to pass it to someone being guarded? Who then has to take a contested shot? Harris had enough time to catch and shoot, not drive.
