musselman looks to have put together a good looking team. I forgot what it was like to have a game plan and energy on the sideline. bud Walton will be fun again if we show some life.

The offensive sets look amazing.
- I like how our players rub on screen plays
-back door cuts/back door screens.

Sucks we don't have a remotely decent home game non con this year.

That North Texas team damn near beat a ranked VCU at their place. We can ball.

UNT is well coached. I remember his name being mentioned during the search

The Indiana and GT series' ended up being pretty terrible. Both suck. And of course we draw fricking TCU in the Big 12 challenge, worst team in the B12. Zero hype for that even locally much less nationally. Zero exposure.
I'm hoping we can get a Top 10-15 team in BWA next year, and at least another top 25 name too.
Got to start scheduling better.

Arkansas has held its first two opponents to just 43 points. The last time Arkansas held opponents to under 50 points in back-to-back games was 14 years ago when the Razorbacks defeated UL Monroe 85-43 on Dec. 31, 2004 and defeated Ole Miss 69-46 on Jan. 5, 2005.
Arkansas has held its opponents to a combined 4-of-45 (8.9 percent) from 3-point range through two games.
Isaiah Joe missed his first two 3-pointers before making his last four. He only needs 32 more 3-pointers to enter the Arkansas all-time top 10.
Mason Jones is 13-of-13 from the free throw line this season, including 9-of-9 Tuesday versus North Texas. Dating back to the win at Vanderbilt last season (Mar. 6, 2019), Jones has made 22 straight. (Made his last free throw attempt at Vandy, was 4-of-4 at Providence and at Indiana last season, was 4-of-4 in the season opener versus Rice and 9-of-9 versus North Texas). The school record for consecutive free throws made (one record) is 48 by Ricky Medlock over 20 games in the 1974-75 season.

Arkansas already receiving votes for the top 25. Got 11 this week for a ranking of 36th. Looks like a few of the voters saw what we see.

I'm keeping a level head on all this because I know we're going to lose some games based on our depth and size alone. It gives me great hope going into next year though.

Mike was sandbagging the heck out of this year. Yikes.
Honestly okay with it, will probably hurt us down the stretch but if we keep winning it will take care of itself.
SEC going to be tough and skew our record in the L section.

I think the weak schedule is a good thing considering this is year 1. I personally think we end up in the tournament, but if we end up in the NIT or whatever, no big deal. It's year 1. However, with the weak schedule these guys should be able to enter conference play with an outstanding record and a lot of momentum. If we are already receiving votes for the top 25, we will be there by the time the OOC schedule is over. Should be anyways.

Perfect storm coming for Arkansas unless something Arkansas happens and fricks it all up. Recruiting is already skyrocketing. We need to be able to spend a considerable amount of time in the top 25 this season.
Arky finna become a destination school for basketball.

Some people on here are really setting themselves up to be disappointed. Remember when we looked like worldbeaters in out of conference, beating OU and Texas, then self destructed? I'm in wait & see mode. Not expecting a lot in year 1.

True but that was Pelphrey

Pelphrey and famous ballhog Courtney Fortson. Think it's safe to say this team is slightly better than that one and a million times better coached

Jason Henry was a sick sick freak.

Well, the good news is that I'm an adult and if I end up being wrong it really isn't a big deal because I can handle things like an adult.
Musselman is one of the best coaches in the game and he has two of the best players in the country in Isaiah Joe and Mason Jones. I expect this team to have a very good year. Better than most are expecting.
